Tsukiko tried to keep her head up from dozing off as she stood against the bridge's railing. It was early the following morning and she was quite tired. Sleep had not come for her last night due to the fear that she might attacked by any one of the foreign Ninjas or even that Gaara guy from earlier. Usajii had gotten rather annoyed at her comment and refused to accompany her fearful thoughts.

Even when Tsukiko swore up and down that she saw Gaara in the distance from her window, Usajii would not listen to her. So, Tsukiko stayed up all night, lying curled up under her blanket. She wasn't sure how that thin clothe could've saved her but it always felt safer under the blanket as she held onto the Kunai.

It was at times like this that Tsukiko wished she had parents. To protect her from others and to help her through difficult times. It was rather annoying that she had no family. Her family died hundreds of years before she was even born. And she didn't like that at all. She wondered what kind of mother her mother would've been to her. She wondered what kind of father her father would've been.

There was no one Tsukiko could think of and call 'Mum'. And Tsukiko had no one that she could think of and call 'Dad'. She had no father. She was truly alone in the world. It was truly lonely.

Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke stood around Tsukiko, all of them waiting for Kakashi Sensei to arrive at their usual meet-up location, the bridge. Sasuke was emotionless as always, Naruto was glancing at Sakura from time to time and Sakura herself was getting agitated.

"Say! Say! Say!" Sakura spoke up suddenly. "Why is it that he's the one who always calls us out, and then makes us wait?!" Tsukiko had wondered that, too.

"That's right!" Naruto agreed immediately. "That's right!"

"What's he going to do about the feelings of a maiden who accidently overslept and resigned herself to no blow drying?!" Sakura demanded.

"What's blow drying?" Tsukiko asked, genuinely curious. But Sakura and Naruto ignored her as they continued to pile up how unfair it was.

"I overslept, so I haven't washed my face and didn't brush my teeth!" Naruto announced. Tsukiko gave him a rather uncomfortable look.

"Y-You..." Sakura said. "That's dirty," Tsukiko stared at them, feeling rather drained out. How are these two so hyperactive so early in the morning?

"Hey, good morning, folks!" Kakashi Sensei greeted as he appeared over the tori structure on the bridge. Tsukiko gave him an annoyed look. "Today, I got a bit lost on the path of life..."

"Right! That's a lie!" Naruto and Sakura shouted. Tsukiko and Sasuke pushed themselves off of the railing and stood next to the other two as Kakashi Sensei jumped down to them.

"Uh, well..." Kakashi Sensei said. "This is sudden, but I recommended you guys for the Chunin Exams, so..." He held out four applications to them. "Here, these are your applications,"

"Chunin Exams..." Tsukiko muttered as she stared at Kakashi Sensei with Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke, all of them surprised. "You recommended us?" He nodded.

"That being said, the recommendations are not compulsory," Kakashi Sensei told them. "You guys are free to decide whether you take the Exam or not,"

"All right!" Naruto shouted. "I love you, Kakashi Sensei!" He jumped at their Sensei, hugging him around the neck.

"Hey, cut it out!" Kakashi Sensei said as he set Naruto back down onto the ground. "Get going already..." They took the applications. "Only those who want to take the exam, sign that application and come to Room 301 of the Konoha Academy at 3:00PM, five days from now, that's it!"
