I woke up in a spacious bed at first I was kind of lost until I looked over seeing oscar and the little girl from last night still asleep. I couldn't help but to snap a picture on my phone at just the sight of them. I looked around the room taking everything in before getting out of the bed and going to the bathroom. I washed myself up making sure I looked decent before they woke up.
Maybe I should cook breakfast for him letting me stay here. I walked to the kitchen looking around for somethings that I could make. I finally decided on eggs, sausage, and grits something easy but good. I cut on the water as I waited for it to heat up. Moving over to making little fruit bowls. As I looked around the kitchen I couldn't help but remember the time me and Oscar were making breakfast and made a mess all over the kitchen.
Flashback — " you beat me to it I was actually gonna start something" I frowned while looking at all the stuff he had out
" it's okay mamacita I'm a very good cook so you'll be surprised" he flicked some flour on my face making me laugh
" I want to help still... so what are we making" I dipped my finger in the pancake batter wiping it down his cheek smiling
He cut his eyes at me finishing the batter. He poured some in and started making them while I started on the sausages and eggs since he wouldn't let me help make the pancakes.
" Oscar look" I flicked some water on his face he grabbed some flour throwing it at me and started laughing
" ouuu you bout to get it boyy" I grabbed at least a handful of flour throwing it back only for him to grab the whole thing chasing me around the kitchen with it
He closed me off in the corner and I realized I was gonna get got... if I didn't talk my way out of this

The memory was so clear yet we had so much fun that day. I was so excited I didn't even realize I screamed so loud that I woke oscar up making him run downstairs with a gun in hand. I jumped when he pointed it at me. " it's just me oscar" I yelled as I grabbed my chest. He calmed down and sat it on the table before coming over to me hugging me. " sorry I thought something was happening and I just... quick reaction I guess but why did you scream" . I shook my head " well I was just in here cooking and some memories came back to me when we were in here making pancakes and stuff and you chased me around the kitchen.
His face formed the biggest smile ever as she picked me up into his arms making me laugh. " Oscar put me down" I giggled as he wouldn't stop spinning with me in his arms. " I just love you so much Lolita... and I would hate for something to happen to you so this is just great that you remembered something so important to our story" before either of us could say anything more Clem came downstairs with her hair wild. I looked at the table throwing the gun to the ground as I went off making us all jump.
I looked over at the wall seeing a hole in it. " I'm so sorry" my eyes darted towards the gun as Oscar rushed to get it before I ended up hurting someone or myself for this matter. " clumsy ass" he laughed as the front door opened and plenty of people came in. " Cesar" I ran over to him hugging him. He was always my little baby and the only person I really remember right besides Jamal and ruby . " hey baby, where have you been" he wrapped his arms around me hugging me back as I kissed all over his face laughing. " I was with ruby, Jamal, and monse" his friends were standing behind him also. " aww Jamal I missed you so much" I walked over to him and ruby crying. " you remember us" I nodded my head yeah as they both hugged me tightly.
" I love y'all so much don't ever forget me that... I made breakfast come join us" I turned back to the kitchen walking in as Oscar looked over at us. " is she doing drugs now she was just crying and now shes happy" I heard the girl whisper but I ignored it. I sat everything on the table as everyone sat Down. " what's with the hole on the wall" ruby asked. " I mistakenly shot one in the wall" I giggled to myself as ruby and Jamal laughed. " it's not funny I was just trying to get it off the table because my precious baby came in" I leaned over kissing Clem's cheeks " so I'm not your baby" Oscar said which caught me off guard. I leaned over kissing him as he smiled. " so guys let's dig in"
They all started passing the food around as I watched everyone in aw. Moments like these were amazing. I never had them with my family so seeing this was something I would have to take in and remember when times got crucial.
