I am so happy as I am trying to find my mask and when I finally find the one I like... my husband is gone. I pick up the most extravagant mask of course and I smile... this is it.

I put it on and I head out. I hit the bar first and I of course order shots "So are you having fun?" I usually am for parties like these but tonight I am not feeling it yet. I see a guy at the bar and I can tell he is young and I like him in his mask...I walk up to him and I ask "Hey stranger... you alone?" He turns just at enough angle to look at me "Who is alone here? And so what if they are with someone? Does it matter?" I chuckle "You are absolutely right... why would it matter tonight." My shots are here and I pick one up "Cheers?" He picks up a shot and leans closer to me "Cheers beautiful stranger." I don't even know why I am shivering with excitement... just because of one shot and that is no way. I look around before I look right into this beautiful stranger's eyes "Let's down the rest of the shots and go dance." He swirls the little shot glass filled up with shots between his fingers "Let the fun begin."
