Kacey POV

"So how was your first day?" Karin asked me.
"Well I'm already pretty cool with everyone there since I'm in the salon so often so I was pretty comfortable with the other staff. I didn't have any problems with any clients thank the lord, so overall I'd say it was a good first day."
"Well that's good to hear." My mom said standing in my doorway.
"Oh Hey Mrs.Taylor"
"I didn't even notice you were standing there mom"
"Hey Karin, you girls good ?" My mom asked us
"Yeah we good" Karin said
"So you finally decided to get yourself a job huh." My mom said looking at me.
"Yes and it was quite productive." I told her
"Maybe one day you'll have your own salon" she said
"Yeah I need some real competition" Karin jokingly said.
"I don't know about that, I'm not sure what I want to do later in life just yet."
"Well that's understandable Kay, you are still young " My mom said
"Yeah for me I always loved doing hair and wanted to run my own business so it was a no-brainer what I wanted to do." Karin spoke
"With you, you can choose with hair and makeup." My mom told me
"I don't want to limit myself to just hair and makeup because I can do it well. I have my Bachelor's in Accounting & Finance so I could work in an accounting firm as well." I said reminding them I got options.
"That's true, well it's up to you whichever you feel most comfortable in or the one you want to perdue more.Anyways I'm leaving you girls, I'm going to meet up with Cyn." My mom said leaving the room.
"Okay tell Aunty Cyn I said we gotta link up soon!" I shouted after her.
"Where Jaime at ?" Karin asked
"Probably with Britney I think they want to go clubbing tonight"
"After what went down last night I think I'm good on clubbing for a while" she said
"Facts! That was crazyyy"
"I meant to ask you about that guy from last night."
"You mean Dave?" I questioned
"Is that his name? Hmm. How do you know him?"
"Girl that's the craziest story ever I think it's best I tell you another time, I personally don't got the energy to give it right now " I told her honestly , even though I had no idea if I would actually tell her .
"Okay so tell me where did he take you before he brought you over to my house."
"He took me to that old fast food place Princeton liked endless."
"Ohh DipNWingz ? You telling me he got you out of a club that was being shot up and took you to eat?" she questioned raising a brow.
"Not exactly he brought me there to talk. I was hungry so I bought something to eat and we talked a bit until I told him drop me off at ya house." I explained
"Ohh I just found it strange that this random tatted hottie not only defends you against that creepy perv but rushed you out the club to safety plus got his guy to drop me home." She said eyeing me.
"Believe me I was as suprised as you were by the entire thing.Anyways what about that guy that dropped you home." I said
"His name is Ace. He's eye-candy for sure-"
"Here we go" I said chuckling
"Nah for real. He seemed like a cool dude, we had a decent conversation on our way to my place. I was worried as fuck about you literally freaking out. He assured me you in good hands and calmed me down. He walked me to my door and gave me his nunber. I texted him the same night and he can really hold a good convo, we've been talking ever since" She admitted
"Well shit.. Excuse me. So yall talking talking?" I asked
"Nah not like that Kay, just talking you know at least for now." She said smirking.
"For now.. We'll see how long that lasts." I said knowing my bestfriend. She really the wild one between the two of us. I don't believe in sleeping with anyone I'm not in a relationship with Karin on the other hand don't really do relationships. It would be interesting if this Ace guy turns out to be her next fling, and shocking as hell if it becomes more than that but I won't get ahead of myself.
