"Okay so repeat that please." I spoke on the phone. "Yes that's right and I'd also like to order two trays of rainbow cupcakes, and two other trays mixed chocolate amd red velvet cupcakes each." I confirmed over the phone. "Yes please, thank you" I spoke then ended the call. I'm currently parked outside of Manii's Cakez in Manhattan with my favourite cousin Ann Marie. We were going to go inside but the way the line is set up we don't got time for that so we decided to place our order over the phone instead. Ann Marie,her sister Amarie,myself and Jaime grew up like sisters, our first few years we lived together with our grandmother in the Bronx. That was way before my parents started living together. However we were still raised to be close because we all grew up in the Bronx. Jaime and I moved to Brooklyn when our parents got married but we were still in and out of the Bronx alot visiting family or just friends we grew up and went to school with. It was only recently that we moved out to Manhattan and Amarie went to college that we separated in distance but we're all still tight. It's funny how I'm closer in age to Amarie yet I'm closer in bond to Ann Marie. Those are my closest cousins till this day though, even if we no longer live close by each other, we make it our duty to link up as often as we can. Ann Marie is officially a recording R&B artiste as of a few years ago and she's been doing real good for herself. She moved to Chicago bout a year ago but always pops in New York for shows, or just to link up with the fam and have a good time. I'm super proud of my cousin and her development and growth as an artist, I know she'll make it big one day. Her sister Amarie on the other hand is a clothing designer and still lives in New York, plus her main store is located in Manhattan so we run into each other alot. Amarie is turning 25years the day after tomorrow and Ann Marie and I are currently trying to plan out a good birth week for her. We booked a suprise trip for just us cousins to fly out to Florida for a few days since Ann got a show there anyways. We're also planning a little party at my house with the help of my parents and it's going to be only family and close friends invited. The party is happening the day of her birthday but the night going into her birthday we're hitting the club Galaxy. The day after her birthday we're catching a flight to Florida. Amarie has been so focused on her new clothing line that she's releasing the day before her birthday that she didn't even plan anything other than going to the club which is why we decided to surprise her with all of this. Hopefully it all turns out well though because we put so much planning and effort into this and I'll be damned if somebody fuck up my cousin's birthday for her.
