"W-What do you mean-"

"Stop crying. You need to just-"

"Eli, do not tell me to shut up! Do you know what I went through?!"

Emotions spilled. Everything hurt, his words making no sense in the current situation. Does he not understand how I feel? Hell, I don't even really get it myself.

"It's not that, you're just-"

"I went through something terrible. Something completely horrible, and you're going to tell me to just shut up?! You're just going to sit there, after I've only been kind to you, and tell me to shut up because I can't take it anymore?! Are you fucking kidding me?!"

My vision blurred, everything fading. All I could think about was this energetic, lucky boy, that I love, sitting here and saying this shit.

-:-:- third person -:-:-

Eli looked at the boy on the ground angrily, not exactly knowing what to do. Nothing seemed to get through to the sliver-haired bastard.

"Could you let me explain-"

"No, I'm sick of this Eli! You don't take in anyone else's emotions, and you pull on the apathetic shield, and it's all because you don't care! You don't give a shit how anyone else feels, and it hurts, okay? I get that you don't care, but you don't have to make it that obvious."

"Are you really that stup-"

"Stop! Okay, just stop! I get it ! You don't care about my emotions. I smacked you that one time, I did so many bad things, but I also fucking saved you so many more! Count them if you can't see them for what they are! I don't give a shit-"

Eli slammed a hand down on Aesop's desk, making his little bottle of ink fall to the floor and shatter to a million pieces.

"CAN YOU JUST SHUT UP AND LET ME FINISH A SENTENCE?! I'M SO SICK OF MY HEART GETTING MESSED WITH! I'M SO SO SICK OF EVERYTHING< JUST LET ME SPEAK!"

Aesop forced his gaze up at the shaking boy. He was bent over, holding himself up on the desk. All that Aesop could focus on were the tears falling onto his notebook.

"It's not that i don't care, it's that I have so much other shit going on, I can't think enough to care, and I'm sorry for that! I'm fucking sorry! I'm sorry that I have to be alive, that I have to be a burden, that I'm messed up."

And with that, Eli stormed out of the room, tears flowing down his own face.

Aesop just sat there.

Blank.

Everything blank.

Maybe a little red and black spillage would really help out.

(Okay, I know that they were both being douches, but there's a rEASon, I swEAr-)

Eli went straight to his room, changed into some skinny jeans and shoes, put his blindfold on, and left. He ran down the stairs and straight outside into the dark, cold night.

Everything in his body felt loose and relaxed. nothing could go wrong, right? Everything was just... gonna be fucking great.

Eli walked quietly, passed the gardens, passed everything. He walked straight up to a place he wasn't allowed to be. Straight into nowhere, becoming more and more numb by the second.

-:-:-

"Come on, you need to go find him. You need to, Doctor. Please just go and find him, or something bad might happen to you."

"Oh really, Emma, why don't you go and inform Mr. Pierson about that then?" Emily replied, rolling her eyes. She does care about the young Seer, but there is absolutely nothing she can do about the temporary disappearance. He's done it before, he'll come back. Maybe it's because all the issues about his fiance leaving him right after he came here are possibly hitting him once again? It doesn't matter.

He'll come back. It's not like he can just abandon everyone here, like he almost did the first time.

"Mr. Pierson?! Ha, that's funny! No, I'll go tell Mr. Scarecrow of th-"

The girl caught herself, then rubbed her forehead lightly. Right. Mr. Scarecrow isn't real. Delusional.

"Uh, I'll go tell Mr. Wu Chang."

Emily rolled her eyes at the girl who is basically her patient. Oh course she would threaten that.

"No. Why don't you go and speak with Aesop, if you're so worried? He probably knows where Eli is. It is only breakfast, so I don't see why you're so stressed that you can't find him in the manor. It's not that big of a deal."

"It's not just me! Naib and Tracy are scared too! I bet Aesop doesn't even know-"

"Know what?"

Both females turned around to see Aesop just standing there. They were having a discussion in the hallway, so it's not like it was private, but Emily really didn't want to have to tell him that Eli was gone.

"Oh, Eli is gone." Emma spoke calmly, not caring about the emotions Aesop could feel from the statement. He just stood there, not a change in expression. That's when Emily noticed how puffy and red his eyes still were. She knew that Aesop knew more than anyone else in this building.

"You should go get some food then go to bed, okay? That's what would be best. I can also try to find you some herb to make you feel better. Medicine is quite scarce at this point in our lives."

Aesop's straight face dropped into a small frown at the doctor's words, but he also knew that she cared for his well being.

"I think I'll be okay, but thanks. I'll take your advice."

Emily knew for a fact that he was worried from his body language, but she just closed her eyes and leaned against the wall behind her, as Aesop walked into the kitchen.

Emma turned towards the worn out girl with a familiar smile on her face.

"Well at least Aesop isn't too worried! I guess it's up to the four of us to solve this mystery of where the Seer went!" she chirped out.

Perfect timing: Naib and Tracy both walked into the hallway, out from the dining room.

Everyone was frozen: Emma had wide and surprised eyes with one of her hands still in the air from her cheering, Emily just rubbed her aching forehead more, Tracy was eyeing Emma with a weird look, and Naib looked like he had just been caught singing naked in the shower, a pancake hanging halfway out of his mouth.

"What?" he asked, his words muffled from the food. It was just these four alone in the hallway, but it still felt too crowded.

"Us four?! We've gotta go find Eli and bring him back to the manor all safely!! We gotta save him, guys-"

Emma cut her self off when she saw Naib's face. Tracy looked just as scared as him. they looked... terrified.

"I would like to inform all of you brats that Mr. Clark is back in his room. I can not promise you his safety, though i can ensure his whereabouts. Now, stop being nosy and shut up. You're stirring up trouble."

Everyone looked to the other end of the hallway to see Leo Beck standing there.

"All of you are stirring up trouble in the manor that we've never had to deal with before. So just stop. All six of you: Naib, Emily, Emma, Aesop, Tracy, and that dreaded Seer. just stop."

Emily bit her lip as Mr. Beck walked away from them, down to somewhere else in the manor.

He was right...  everything is going to hell...

...yet no one but two really knew the severity of it.
