Eli's eyes fluttered open, but his body didn't move at all. He was far too comfortable to actually move, so he just lied there in the other male's arms. He wasn't sure how they had gotten to this position, but he wasn't about to object it; he just pushed his face and the front of his body farther into Aesop's chest.

"Mmm, good morning, Eli," Aesop greeted, making the other hug him harder. Aesop chuckled lightly, as the smaller boy held onto his body tightly and refused to really let go.

"Morning."

Aesop rolled onto his back, letting the boy place himself on his chest. He ran his hands down the others back and through his hair, making Eli groan gently and melt into the male beneath him.

"How'd you sleep?"

Eli hummed gently, shifting so he was more comfortable laying on Aesop's chest. Aesop continued to rub his back and run his hands through the smaller boy's hair.

"Good, because you're here."

Aesop felt all warm inside, but it quickly got struck down. He couldn't stop thinking about that month that they were sort of separate and Fiona was in the picture. He couldn't stop thinking about it, honestly. It was deadly to be thinking about, but he couldn't stop it from filling all his thoughts.

"That's great. I slept well, too."

Eli nodded gently into the other's chest, hugging his body tighter. He really didn't want to let go.

"Wanna go spectate? Tracy and Emily have an early 2v8 match today. They should be starting pretty soon."

Eli sat up at the thought, straightening his back and looking down at Aesop. His legs fell to straddle the other boy's waist, but they had been in this position a thousand times before.

"We should. Wanna go right now?"

"Do you feel up for it?"

Eli rolled his eyes and smiled, bending down to where his face was right above Aesop's. He giggled lightly, blowing warm air into the other's face.

Aesop looked at the brunette. He was beautiful. His lips were scarred but looked soft, and his eyes were bright. Aesop couldn't hold back anymore; he grabbed the sides of the boy's face and brought it down to his own.

Their lips connected in a familiar way that let both of them relax. Eli scooted down a bit, his hands coming up on Aesop's chest as they kissed.

When they broke, Aesop grabbed the boy's small waist and pulled him down so he was laying on top of him.

"I'll take that as a yes."

"Damn. They're quite persistent."

Eli began to laugh at Naib, who couldn't hold the smile back either. The gates had been open for a long while, and all but two were still roaming around the map, essentially teasing the hunters to death. It was hilariously nauseating.

"Jesus, they just won't stop," Aesop mumbled, taking a sip of his water bottle. Naib glanced at Tracy's screen, watching as she and Emily ran around together, neither of them even getting close to a hunter.

"God, I don't think I've seen this amount of toxicity in a long time. This is the best bullshit I've seen in forever."

Eli couldn't help but laugh, sitting up on the metal table. The room was dark besides the light from the bright screens. No one was in there but the three, which made Eli feel a little more confident about leaning over and placing his head on Aesop's shoulder.

Aesop wrapped his arm around the other's waist, allowing Eli to totally fall against him and melt into his body. He couldn't help but close his eyes and totally relax against the other; it all felt too right in the calm moment.

"Are they ever going to stop?"

Eli giggled lightly at Naib's question, just resting against his favorite person, almost as if his life depended on it. Everything felt right. Almost... too right.

Tattered arms wrapped around a corpse.

"Please!" the voice called out, though the person in their arms wasn't about to respond. They just lied there, their sin turning a sickly grey color.

"Please come back to me!"

The cold feeling that their body held was something the crying other couldn't get over as he sobbed to the other person.

"Please don't leave me like this! Naib said we couldn't die, so this isn't possible! Stop lying to me!"

He cried harder, holding the body that was most definitely dead with a grip that could kill someone. He couldn't let go.

"Please, Aesop! It's not fucking fair!"

His grey skin and even greyer hair shined in the moonlight, making Eli just cry harder than before. It was almost like he had never sobbed that hard, though he was sure, somewhere deep in his mind, that he in fact had.

He couldn't be sure how they even got there or what happened before hand, all he could feel was now; and Aesop was dead in his arms. Not unconscious. Really dead this time, not doubt about it.

"Please..." he cried out once more, only for there to be no reply from the other.

It was finally done for.
