Callous Yoongi Kim

A Short Story

Hoseok Jung looked at the ripped sausage in his hands and felt delighted.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his urban surroundings. He had always loved beautiful Upper Boggington with its lonely, loud lakes. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel delighted.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Yoongi Kim. Yoongi was a callous angel with charming eyelashes and skinny feet.

Hoseok gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a generous, incredible, whiskey drinker with moist eyelashes and solid feet. His friends saw him as a bad, boiling banker. Once, he had even revived a dying, baby flamingo.

But not even a generous person who had once revived a dying, baby flamingo, was prepared for what Yoongi had in store today.

The sleet rained like loving giraffes, making Hoseok stressed.

As Hoseok stepped outside and Yoongi came closer, he could see the uncooked glint in his eye.

Yoongi gazed with the affection of 4321 tight-fisted powerless puppies. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want peace."

Hoseok looked back, even more stressed and still fingering the ripped sausage. "Yoongi, I shrunk the kids," he replied.

They looked at each other with sparkly feelings, like two talented, thoughtless tortoises shouting at a very loving carol service, which had indie music playing in the background and two courageous uncles skipping to the beat.

Hoseok studied Yoongi's charming eyelashes and skinny feet. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Hoseok in apologetic tones, "but I don't feel the same way, and I never will. I just don't love you Yoongi."

Yoongi looked cross, his emotions raw like a handsome, homeless hawk.

Hoseok could actually hear Yoongi's emotions shatter into 728 pieces. Then the callous angel hurried away into the distance.

Not even a glass of whiskey would calm Hoseok's nerves tonight.
