❝It's funny.❞ He laughed. ❝Before, I was only interested in proving the mystery that Zim was an alien, but now-❞, his face closer to your own and a hand interweaving with yours, ❝- the only mystery I want to...

You woke up to the sound of dogs barking. The neighbor next door owned a few dogs and Unfortunately that meant having to hear the darn things. If you wanted to make wake up to such noise you would have put the Monsters Inc. theme on full blast as your alarm.
Lazily, you got up and dressed for the day. You chose to wear a light sweater over a grey camisole, along with jeans and your usual shoes. As you were about to walk out, your eyes caught a peek at a pair of clothes that weren't yours.
They were Dibs. You remembered to wash them before giving them back even if they were really comfortable and smelt nice, they weren't nice.
Or I could keep-
You immediately dismissed the thought and grabbed his clothes, stuffing them in your backpack. The silly thought in your mind vanished as soon as it came Instead, Gretchen came to mind and it worried you. No doubt, the girl would have a big flip and try to talk your ears out if she Dib's clothes in your clutches. You were just going to have to give them to him in private or give them to Gaz. That could make things so much easier.
Now you didn't do this to spare Gretchen's feelings, but to save yourself the embarrassment from dealing with her.
With that planned, you went in the kitchen to eat cereal as a quick breakfast meal and then headed to skool.

"I can't wait to get a new DS. Some stupid kid pushed me and it dropped right in a puddle." Gaz said with what you thought was a saddened tone.
She had no choice but to use an old version of a gameboy as it was the only thing besides her phone--that was currently hooked up to a portable charger so she couldn't use it--that was technology.
"I'm grieving for you on the inside." You replied with sympathy.
She quirked a brow at you and smiled.
"You know, I don't ever say this to anyone, but you're not so bad."
"And neither are you." You smiled back.
It was the beginning of an unspoken friendship that you could actually get used to. Gaz was definitely cooler and relaxed than others you met. She didn't talk too much or too little which was fine by you. You didn't feel pressured to tell her anything and if you did tell her anything she would simply listen.
"If you stayed longer yesterday we could have played on my new game." Gaz sighed.
