Snowflakes of every shape and size fell from the depths of the milky white clouds. They danced around in the cold air like individual ballerinas. Merry people of every age sang Christmas Carols wearing festive sweaters and joyous smiles.

Decorations hung from around every street light. Green trees adorning ribbons and ornaments stood in front of almost every window of shops and houses.

Eager chirps were released from a small canary wearing a short knitted scarf. He tugged at his owner's hood, trying to fasten her pace even though she was walking as fast as she could.

"Mo, if you keep pulling my hoodie it's going to rip." (Name) gently scooped the tiny bird in her hands. He responded with angry chirps making his companion roll her eyes. She brought him close to her warm cheeks and nuzzled his head. Mo Peep chirped angrily yet didn't move away from the affection he was getting.

"You're such a butthole, and yet you're so adorable." The (hair color) haired girl said contemplating her love for the bird. She let him go and followed after him.

Meanwhile, not too far away, a certain pair of hazel eyes watched the pair. He looked at the food store they went to and scribbled it down on his notepad. Minutes passed by and both (Name) and her beloved Canary came out of the store. Quickly, Dib hid behind a mailbox.

"See! I told you they were out of rice krispies." The bespectacled boy heard his reserved friend say to her pet. "Now let's go back home. I want to wallow in self-pity since I was too busy sleeping instead of watching the meteor shower yesterday."

Rice krispies...meteor shower

Dib jotted down those things and moved away from the mailbox once he heard the coast was clear.

"Dad, are you home?" You called out, taking your shoes off as you entered your home.

The only thing you heard was Christmas music and the sound of someone singing it aloud. This and the obviously festive decorations hanging about the walls were a signal your dad was home. Well, that and his car was parked outside.

"Yeah, in the kitchen." He replied.

You, along with Mo Peep, headed into the kitchen. Upon entering, you saw your father wearing the most absolute goofiest Christmas sweater. He was dancing and humming to the upbeat music all the while taking out a batch of mouth-watering cookies.

"Hello, daughter of mine." The man came over and took both your hands in his. He leaned down to kiss your forehead and gently pulled you into the kitchen.

"Merry Christmas-Eve-Eve." He exclaimed.

A small smile appeared on your face as you looked around. Your father had the whole house decorated, not just the halls. He was always in spirit with every holiday so this didn't surprise you one bit.
