The both of you finally found a safe spot to camp for the night. Like Dib said, it was at a hilltop. God, the view was spectacular. You could practically see the whole city from up there.

"I got everything up." Dib clapped his hands. He had set up the tent while you finished turning on his equipment.

"I can't believe you really built all of these." You said impressed. Besides the telescope, Dib's inventions were structured almost perfectly as if they were from an actual company. There were specific hand cuffs, blasters, tracking devices, etc.

Dib smiled bashfully with pink cheeks. He chuckled in a nervous manner and mumbled his appreciation. His stomach went giddy at your awed expressions and his confidence increased.

The two of you continued propping traps and mini cameras on the trees. By the time you were done, it was already night. The full moon was out with the twinkling stars reflecting over Dib's own as he stared at them through the telescope.

"You really can see things closer with this thing." Dib leaned away from the contraption and looked over at you.

"Do you always use that thing in the night?" You questioned, flipping through the "Paranormal Things" magazine.

"How do you think I'm able to keep track of any disturbances in this town." He said. You didn't answer back as you assumed it was a rhetorical question. You went back to reading and Dib went back to gazing in his telescope. It was no mystery that Dib must've had a big allowance if he could afford such technology other than the ones he owned.

Comfortable silence overcame the two of you. While you were occupied with a Sci-Fi magazine, Dib viewed various areas using the telescope. That is until his gaze landed on you. At first you didn't care to notice, but after three times his staring became too obvious. He tried to hide it by directing the telescope elsewhere and fained innocence. You soon gave up and went back to the magazine.

With careful movements, Dib returned the telescope back on you. He twisted the knob to further his view on your figure hoping he wouldn't get caught. Your doll-like eyes stayed glued to the magazine, much to Dib's delight. He took the chance to quietly admire your beauty from afar.

Her hair looks so soft. The calm expression on her face is almost angelic. She doesn't have a clue that I'm staring at her. Dib had to stifle laugh at his own thoughts. There was no way you were an angel.

Your eyes snapped towards his, faster than a hawk finding its prey, "Hasn't anyone told you that staring is rude?"

He released a girlish squeal and pushed the telescope away. Dib's cheeks set ablaze when you got up and neared towards him.
