❝It's funny.❞ He laughed. ❝Before, I was only interested in proving the mystery that Zim was an alien, but now-❞, his face closer to your own and a hand interweaving with yours, ❝- the only mystery I want to...

"I adore Paranormal Stuff. " Tak said with glee. "I hope this club is worth the restless nights of research on the undiscovered world."
Dib's cheeks warmed at her enthusiasm which Tak enjoyed. It's been two days after her arrival and boy was Dib eager to accept her to the Paranormal Club. Turns out she had a huge love for both the supernatural and paranormal, as Dib mentioned numerous times to you and the reason why he befriended her easily.
You didn't bother joining their geek fest as you weren't as hyped about it as they were. Okay, you were a little, but only because Dib made it cool. It's not that you didn't like Tak, you weren't used to new people is all. Which is why you were using your new found friendship with Zim as practice. For now, he was your frenemy.
"I doubt it." Your monotone voice captured her attention. Her silver eyes watching you lean against the wall.
The brief glint in her eyes as they passed Dib went away quicker than it came. Her gaze shifted toward you and a smile grew on her lips.
Dib tapped his fingers on the table. He looked in between you and Tak. The tension emitted from the two of you wasn't necessarily thick, but it wasn't thin either. Your blank expression never wavered just as Tak's smile didn't. Dib's eyes widened upon seeing Tak hop down from the desk and walk towards you.
You didn't move from your spot but the microscopic hairs on your body had risen. Her silver eyes scanned your figure. Her short hair swished side to side as she strutted on the cold tiles. She stopped walking and was about four inches away from you.
"You're (Name), right?" Tak smirked, raising a perfectly arched brow. Her arms were tucked politely behind her back as her head tilted to the side in a curious manner. And if it weren't already obvious, the slender girl was an inch taller than you.
"Yes." You answered shortly. You breathed in the beautiful smell of vanilla and lavender. Gretchen's jealousy wasn't her fault, this girl in front of you was absolutely breathtaking.
She giggled and leaned back, crossing her long arms. "Well you already know that I'm Tak so there's no need to introduce ourselves then. Oh and by the way, I like your necklace."
"Thank you." You replied.
Tak briefly locked eyes with Dib who blushed lightly. He scratched the back of his head sheepishly as she winked at him and turned her attention towards you once more.
"He was quite right." Tak said. She whirled around to face you and cupped your chin, but you grabbed a hold of her incredibly soft hand and pushed it away.
"Right about what?" You said, staring at Dib in suspicion.
"How you weren't much of a people person or the talker, but one thing he forgot to mention was how cute and pretty you are." Tak released a slight cackle. "You're expressions are plain but it's your eyes that tell more."
