After you had your food, you all walk back home. After few minutes, you and Kai bid goodbyes to Soobin as he walked to a different road.
"Are you coming with us again tomorrow?" Kai asked you.
"I don't know. Depends on my mom. I'll tell you at night"

"Mom, do you have the time to drop me to school tomorrow?" You asked your mom while processing your food with your chopsticks.
"I think I'll be able to" she replied. "But you better hurry"

You look at your phone buzzed but continue reading your book.
I think it's Kai but wait, I'll look at it after I finish this part.
You read another three paragraphs about the French Revolution and finished the sub topic.

You grab your phone with a big smile and look at it.
Kai.
Kai : So, how's it?
Me : She said that she'll have the time to drop me.
Kai : Oh I see. That's okay :)
Me : If you want you can come along
Me : with Soobin.
Kai : nah. We might be a burden. It's totally fine. We'll be meeting at school anyways.
Me : yeah.
Shit. 5 secs passed. Why the hell did I replied with a single word?! It'll look like I wanna talk to him if I say other things now. Geez. Damn, please reply.
Kai : are you still studying ? 😄
Thank God.
Me : not actually. I'm done for tonight 😁
Kai : Oh good. I thought I distracted you 😅
Me : lol no. I don't get distracted easily.
Kai : while studying?
Me : well,... Everything
Kai : really ? ;))
Me : lol what's with that emoticon ?

Kai : I'm just wondering if you have a boyfriend :)

You quickly put your phone away and started breathing heavily to control your blush and trembling hands.
Then, your phone rang. You take one deep breath to calm yourself and look at it. It's Kai. You blink your eyes several times then take it.
"What dude, I don't have a boyfriend. What??"
"Sorry Sam. I was just joking. You said 'try me' and I don't even know why I said that, sorry"
You smiled like an idiot hearing his worried and guilty voice.
"It's fine. It was nothing"
"Heh. You were distracted right?"
You can feel him smirking as you chocked on air.
"W-what? N-no way bruh"
"Wait, what happen? Are you okay?"
"S-sorry. I am. Good night Kai"
You hung up quickly.
Geez, why am I so childish? I'm not supposed to be like that. I do like him, don't I?
Your phone flashed up as you look at your notification.
Kai : Sorry Sam. Good night. Sleep well :)
