The two of them remained intertwined the whole night, her arm was tight around him, leg thrown over his- basically koala bear hugging him from the side.
But he didn't mind, not at all.
For the first time in a long time, he had slept pretty soundly- no nightmares or anything. His hand rested on her outstretched arm and he shifted slightly, pulling the blanket closer as he turned around to get comfortable, back facing her.
Haewon made a sound of resistance but instead scooted closer to him, embracing him from behind. He was way taller than her but it just felt right. Her head was pressed against his back and her hand layed across his chest. She slid a leg in between his and he jolted slightly.
"Your feet are cold." He whined, moving his legs away and she chased them with her cold feet. "I'm cold though." She mumbled out and Jisung moved his body downwards, now being head level with the girl.
He turned his head to see her sleepy face, eyes still closed. Jisung fought off the smile on his lips and turned back around. "You big baby." Haewon muttered, her lips brushed against his neck as she talked, making him squirm.
"I'm not." "Yes you are, you're literally the small spoon."
Jisung huffed and untangled himself from her grip and sat up on the bed. "I'm not." He tried angrily but his pout proved him wrong.
"Okay okay, fine- just come back." She said with a roll of her eye and Jisung sighed, diving back to the pillow and now laying on his stomach as he looked at the girl beside him.
He looked at her with a slight desperation and an unrecognisable emotion in his eyes and Haewon grew confused at what he was trying to say.
"Cuddle with me then." He said, groaning from embarrassment when he actually said it and his cheeks grew pink.
He couldn't help but feel safe in her arms, feel loved and it was foreign to him and for the first time in 17 years, he felt happy.
"Big baby." She murmured against his forehead and he shook his head, nose brushing her neck. "No I'm not."
"Okay fine...but you're my baby."
