When her alarm went on for the third time I was already awake, staring at ceiling above me, refusing to let myself admire her sleeping even though now that she was sitting, messy hair and eyes still mostly closed, I had to admit that she was the most gorgeous woman I had ever laid my eyes on.
Creepo, whispered my brain making me look somewhere else as she was now yawning loudly.

"Oh hi." She greeted me, realizing I was already awake.

"I thought you'd never wake up snoring lady."
Eyeing the frown on her face I quickly added.
"If I had another pillow I would have thrown it at you during the night."
Damn I was still in a light mood? That was unpredictable.

Suddenly panicking she exclaimed"Really?"
I acquiesced with a giggle.
She did snore, but that was really low and cute. Like a little puppy asleep.

"Oh no." she muttered, hiding her face behind her hands.

"I'm SO going to tell that to everybody."

Quickly taking her teacher attitude back she glared at me. "Don't you dare."  To be honest she didn't look credible at all and I had to refrain myself from smiling at her.

Shaking my head lightly I reached out to my phone, checking if I had any notifications -or just avoiding another awkward staring contest-

"Wait."
With a frown, I turned to her, waiting for her to explain what was in her mind.
"I don't remember waking up tonight, did you..."
She left her sentence unfinished, expecting me to end it.

"I didn't have any nightmare tonight." I explained diverting my eyes for her, afraid she'd know what really happened just by looking into mines.

"Amanda." She called me twice before I stopped scrolling unconsciously into instagram.  "You didn't sleep, did you?"
Fuck.

"I'm gonna take a shower." I announced, leaving the room before she could say anything else.

That wasn't the first night I didn't sleep at all, I remember trying numerous time to skip sleeping time because I didn't want to have nightmares again. Derek had ended up putting sleeping pills in my drink at dinner. I knew I wouldn't have last long anyway because I was young then.
But now I could easily manage five days, or at least I'd have to do so.

Letting the warm water meet my skin nicely, I closed my eyes for a bit, enjoying the feeling of strength it was giving me by waking me up.

The minute I left the bathroom she called me, many times. "Sorry gotta go. The bathroom's free!" I exclaimed, totally ignoring her. I knew from the moment I left the door she wouldn't be able to talk to me, until tonight though.

"Yeah thanks a lot for that by the way. I always dreamed to sleep with my fucking teacher." I groaned at Derek, seeing my good mood instantly go away.

"I know you'd be mad but I couldn't let you be on your own."

I rolled my eyes at him while walking in circles right outside the hotel. "You know I'm on my own at school. Because I have a lonely room."

"She's in the one right next to you though."

"Then you could have asked her to have a room next to me! Do you realize how awkward it was?" Actually it wasn't, I was just mad for not having a good sleep. Any sleep at all actually.

"I know I'm sorry, but she seemed so nice and caring and she accepted right away when I asked her." Of course she did.

Being already too annoyed I quickly decided to put an end to this conversation, aware that it couldn't lead to something else than an argument. "You know what, we'll talk about that when I'll come back. I need to go, bye."
I then joined the girls in the cafeteria before they'd eat all the food. I was hungry.
