Today was the 23rd of February.
It wasn't a special day to many.
Infact if this had been a year ago, it would not have been a special day for Lisa and Rosie either.
Today was the 23rd of February which marked the 6 month point of Lisa and Rosie's relationship.
Rosie remembers how she had flown back from Paris after her YSL event exactly 6 months and 3 days ago and, she remembers how exactly 182 days ago Lisa had asked her to be her girlfriend.
It was a day she could never have forgotten.
Its the day her life had finally began to feel like it had a real purpose - real meaning.
To her, life was always about doing what you love and loving relentlessly, without regret. Thats why, when she fell for Lisa all those months ago, she knew she wouldn't be able to get over it. And boy, was she glad she had persisted through all the pain, the unrequited love, the tears and all the frustrations that came with loving your best friend while they were blissfully unaware.
Now, here she was on the 23rd of February 2020 sitting in Lisa's apartment complex watching her fumble about the kitchen to cook up some sort of romantic breakfast that she had found on YouTube.
Rosie watched as her Lisa had flour all over her apron and some spread through her fringe from when she got frustrated and held her hair in her hands when she messed up the eggs again for the 5th time.
But, Rosie didn't care. She had nowhere else to be but here right now. She loved watching Lisa be all domestic. It made her heart swell with happiness. It made her feel like they were just like any other couple. So crazily in love with one another.
It felt so good.
Lisa finally manages to present the dish the way she had imagined the first five times and places it in-front of Rosie with her tongue sticking out the side of her mouth as she places it down.
"Happy 6 months Rosie" She beams.
Chaeyoungs begs her stomach not to rumble as she felt her hunger pangs threaten against her stomach walls. She loved the gesture. It was adorable. It was adorable when she had started it about 1.5 hours ago but, now, she was just hungry.
So instead of leaning forward and giving Lisa the kiss she was waiting for, Chaeyoung dug down into the eggs with her fork and mumbled with her mouth full a sincere "mmm this is so good. Thanks Lis"
Lisa chews her lip, a little disappointed but shakes her head thinking 'at least she's enjoying it'. She reaches over into the fridge and helps herself to a granola pot.
"Lisa?" Rosie gets out in between her munching. "You not having some?" She asks.
"It was my treat to you for our 6 months" Lisa shrugs as she digs her spoon into the pot and then sucks the content off the spoon.
Then it hits Rosie. Oh shit. That was Lisa's treat and she barely even said thank you. She looks down at the plate and realises she's already finished the beautiful breakfast turned brunch already.
She feels guilty immediately and walks over to Lisa with her big brown doe eyes. She snakes her hands up Lisa's body and rests it on her waist.
Lisa stood there amused and continued to eat her granola albeit a little awkwardly as she didn't have much space to navigate her arms.
Rosie shakes her head at Lisa and laughs lightly. "Can you stop eating for a second?"
"Says you. You ate my little gift in two minutes. You didn't even take a picture" Lisa says pretending to be upset.

"Oh crap!" Rosie says releasing her grip on Lisa's waist. "I forgot to take a picture. I'm so sorry. I was just so excited I-"
Lisa interjects with a "Its okay babe. I was just kidding, plus, I took a pictures anyways"
"Oh" is all Chaeyoung replies when she realises Lisa was just teasing her. In turn, she pokes Lisa's shoulder and tells her "I was just about to tell you how happy I have been the last 6 months we've spent together and how much I love you but... you don't deserve it"
She exhales loudly, making sure to sigh extra loud before she turns around but to her surprise, as she turns, Lisa grabs her hand and twists her back around so that she was facing Lisa again and that too, at a much closer proximity. Infact, she could smell the blueberries Lisa had just eaten from her granola pot.
"I think" Lisa says as she intensifies her gaze on Chaeyoung's eyes "I do"
Chaeyoung feels a lump form in her throat at the intense moment they were sharing right now. She loved that even though she practically spent every living moment with Lisa, she was still able to make her feel like a teenage girl with a crush.
She swallows the lump in her throat as she lets out a dry chuckle. "Maybe you do Manoban"
Lisa smiles at Rosie's words and leans down to peck her lips. "So you were saying?"
"I just - Lisa, the breakfast you made me was incredible first of all and secondly, I just wanted to say, these last 6 months have been incredible. Beyond whatever I imagined it would have been like to have you as my girlfriend. Every time I wake up with you sprawled over the bed, hogging the bedsheets I wake with a smile. I love you forever"
Lisa listens to Chaeyoung with a little pout that she can't help but form when she listens to the blonde share her thoughts. Chaeyoung was so adorable, Lisa often found it hard to handle herself around her. Although, she didn't really have to anymore.
She pulls Chaeyoung closer to her, placing her hand on her back and smiling at her before she connects her lips with Chaeyoungs bare plump lips. "I love you infinity" she murmurs inbetween their kiss.
Chaeyoung begins to smile widely into the kiss causing the kiss to break apart. "I'm sorry I-I just can't help it" she giggles after she realises she can't stop smiling.
Lisa shakes her head a little as she watches the girl infront of her and circles both her hands around her back. "I totally don't hog the bedsheets by the way" Lisa tells Rosie for what seems like the 10,000th time.
"You totally do" Rosie responds. "But, its okay because, I like even your annoying habits" Rosie winks at Lisa.
"Pfft whatever" Lisa scoffs as she sincerely believes she doesn't hog the bedsheets - even though she does, she really does.
Before Lisa can continue to defend her case their doorbell rings.
Lisa contorts her brows causing a crease to form between her brows. "Whose that?" She mutters before she lets go of Rosie and begins to make her way to the door.
"Uh!" Rosie exclaims before she runs over to the door and lets Lisa know she's got it.
Lisa looks at her girlfriend once again amused, why was she so unintentionally funny?
"The machine is downstairs. We were wondering if you could sign for it now so that I can just bring it up in one go" the man tells Rosie.
"Oh yeah sure" Rosie agrees and proceeds to sign the paper in-front of her just after tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
The mans gives her a smile before he proceeds back down the stairs of Lisa's complex.
"Who was that?" Lisa asks curiously while placing Rosie's dishes in the washer.
