"Artemis! How was your trip to the city?" Talia asks as I walk into the room.
"Fine." I say simply.
"Well, you are just in time to watch my troops invade Nanda Parbot. Come join me." Talia says.
"With all respect, I'd rather focus on the attack we will be doing on the city." I say.
Talia looks away from her video feed. "Very well. You will accompany Slade and myself to City Hall, where we will kill the mayor and I will claim the city for my own." Talia says.
"Is that all?" I ask sarcastically.
"No, when City Hall is safely secured and under my control, I will send you to bring Nyssa and Oliver, then you will as promised, kill them before me." Talia says.
I nod. "I will do whatever you ask of me."
"Good girl. Now go suit up, the time is nearly upon us." Talia says as she gets up and walks away.
I watch the still playing feed. I watch, my stomach twisting, as Talia's army cuts down whoever gets in their path. I turn and run back to my room.
