I watched with satisfaction when Lyzender's face mirrored a shocked expression..
He was utterly shocked. Completely shocked.
I cocked my head to a side, smirking, enjoying his shock.
He took a step backward and I took my chance.
I gripped him by his collar and glared at him. I felt my eyes flash.

"I am Alexander's sister, Zena Adams." I growled.
"And I  will make sure that you pay for what you did to my brother."

In a flash I was inside our apartment and slammed the door, hard.

Lyzender's POV

My mind was in a complete whirl. Zena Audrey Adams. So she was Alexander's sister. No wonder she looked so familiar.

And that challenging sign!  How did I not recognize it? That Alexander used to do it. So, she is really is his sister.

My mind drifted back to the day when I first saw her.

    "Shit!" I cursed.

"We just lost!"
It was our annual basketball match with Hickling Green, our old rival and we just fucking lost! I gritted my teeth as I caught sight of our rival team celebrating their victory. My eyes met a pair of brown eyes.
     Alexander Adams!

He waved at me and then he approached me.
He moved a hand through his  hair and girls around squealed. I rolled my eyes.

He gave me an arrogant smile and I lost my patience. I took a step toward him but a hand on my shoulder stopped me.

"Man, cool down." Ethan hissed. "We don't want any trouble."

Alexander and I were like born enemies. We used to crow each other's defeat.

And then a girl came running out of nowhere and flung herself on Alexander.

She seemed to be around our age and had dark hair.

"Alex...!" She squealed in delight. "You won! I am sooo happy! I knew you would win!"
Alexander laughed and pulled her in to a tight embrace.

He pulled back from the girl and did his weird fist bump thing with her.

He mouthed "later" to me and turned to his teammates.

"Yo! Guys!" He cried. "Welcome the Queen of today's celebration, my little sissy, Audrey!"

The next time I saw her was that night I got in to a fight with Alexander.

I threw another punch at him and he lay flat on the ground.

I would have stopped if he accepted defeat but he didn't.

He scrambled on to his feet and stood in front of me rather shakily.
"Bastard!" He yelled. "You stupid bastard!"

I threw another punch at him, ignoring Ethan's yells.

Alexander fell on to the ground but still he managed to raise himself.

He spat blood and glared at me.
That moron!

Ethan grabbed my arm and trued to pull me away.

But, I yanked my arm free and turned to Alexander.

One look at his face, I wanted to punch him more.

I growled and took a step forward but stop in mid step when I heard a terrified scream.

A girl, whom I assumed to be Alexander's sister came running.

Her eyes widened at the sight of a bloody Alexander.

"Alex!" She whinnied and crouched beside him.

"Audrey, you have to go." Alexander said in a muffled voice.

I rolled my eyes at his brotherly affection and turned to go.

But I was blocked by a very pissed off Audrey, or who ever she is.

"You!"she shrieked. "You fucking hit my brother!"

I rolled my eyes again.
So, little Miss Perfect knows to swear, huh?

And then I felt something connect with my jaw.

I was almost pushed back by the sudden force.

My eyes widened as pain exploded in me.

My eyes met a fuming Audrey who had her arms in a self defense position.

And that's when it hit me.

That bitch just punched me!

I was beyond shock. I could not believe that a girl just hit me. Well, I have to admit, a part of me was fascinated.
A very small part.

Before I could react , she threw another punch to my jaw line and I tasted blood.

With the corner of my eye , I saw Ethan and Jake staring at her with dropped jaws.

I narrowed my eyes in burning anger.

To say that I was angry would be an understatement.

I was pissed!

Before I could retreat we heard foot steps. More people were coming.

Ethan tugged at my arm.

"We have to go."

I glared at Audrey and obeyed Ethan, anyway, after shooting her one murderous look.

******************************

So, Zena Audrey Adams!

I was shocked.

Well, she really have changed.

She was no longer that shy little girl.

She no longer dressed as if she was going g to the church.

But, two things have not changed.

Her fiery temper and.....

her hatred toward me!
