C H A P T E R - 25

"I thought you'd be having dinner here" Taehyun said.

"What? You don't even invite me to" I replied.

"Oh, you want an invitation?"

"No. That's not what I meant. It's just that, it's the first time I come here and just having a dinner not even being asked is a bit, not nice?"

"Absolutely not. I already told our chef that you'd be having dinner here and I always eat alone anyway"

"Alright then, sure"

"Who do you live with here?" I asked while having dessert.

"My father" he replied.

"Okay. When us he coming home?"

"I'm not sure. Not soon, I guess"

"Oh that's good" I said feeling so relieved.

"Why?" He asked.

"It's nerve racking. I've never met a CEO of a big company" I said as he replied with a small laugh.

After having dessert, Taehyun called his driver for me. We walk out from the front door as he stops.

"My father is home" he said.

"I thought you said he's not coming home soon"

"I said that I'm not sure, right?"

We watch his dad coming closer to us. He looks so intimidating.

OML. OML! I'm freaking out.

"Good evening" Taehyun greeted his father as he stop in front of us.

"Good evening, sir" I greeted as well.

"Good evening" he replied. "First time you ever bring someone home, your girlfriend?" He asked Taehyun, making me more nervous.

"I'm sorry for making you curious. She's about to go home" Taehyun replied him.

Okay, awkward.

"Oh okay. Reach home safe" his dad said to me.

"Thank you" I replied and bow as he walk passed us.

Taehyun let out a deep sigh as I look at him.

"Will he scold you for bringing me over?" I asked him.

"No" he replied.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. He won't day anything. I just don't want him investing his time in my personal life" he said.

My dad and Han came in my mind as we started to walk. Even though we might not see out dad often, he always try to spend a lot of time with us, especially with Han. Seeing Han laughing, talking, playing and being stupid around our dad makes me feel really bad for Taehyun.

He must've gone through hell.

We walk out to their front gate seeing his driver and car a bit to the left.

"Mr. Kim, please drive her home safely" Taehyun said to him.

"I will" he replied with a bow.

"Good night Jiwan" he said to me and I can't help but hugging him.

"Good night Taehyun. Sleep well" I said caressing his back.

I went back and look at him as he look at me.

"You know, if you want, come to my place tomorrow before 10 with formal clothes. We're going to the church and have a family date the rest of the day. I'm sure you'll like it. Just consider this as an invitation" I said to him blushing.

"Isn't that embarrassing?" He asked.

"Not at all. Even my brother sometimes used to invite his friends" I replied

"Alright. I will come" he said smiling.

"Okay. I'll be expecting to see you tomorrow" I said as he nod.

We bid goodbyes again as I walk in the car.
