You can't force someone to find their way out of the darkness.
And some people never will because... if they're always in pain and always in the dark, it can't get any worse.
So they decide to quit. They decide to stay there and bathe in their own pain, and dwell in the chaos. It's like self pity is a blanket for them and they never want to grow. Sometimes they never even see that they need to because it's all they've ever known.
Some people just are determined to self destruct and you cant sacrifice yourself and your own happiness to save them.
Not even if you love them.
They have to decide to change.
You cant heal for someone.
And you cant force them to see the truth.
