THIS CHAPTER JUST DID A WHOOOOLE 180!!!!!

Tira POV

After I finished laughing by myself in the library I walked out and saw a few of the other kids on the hill. I walked up and sat under the tree where Ray usually sat.

"Sister Krone is just wayyyyy too fast!" One of them said.

"I know! She's so fast I wanna be like her!"

"Do you think she's faster than Emma?"

"Maybe???? Sister Krone is an adult after all!" I looked at the forest and just waited for them to all come out. They slowly did and when Ray came out he sat down next to me.

"Ray come over here I need to talk to you." Isabella said. Ray didn't say anything and just got up and followed her and I followed them. Ray looked at me for a split second before turning his attention back to Isabella.

"Have you found out who it was that night?" Isabella asked. Ray shook his head.

"Everyone's been acting normal so far." She just looked at him like she knew everything.

"How's the book so far?" Isabella asked.

"It's good."

"What part are you on?" Ray raised an eyebrow.

"Almost finished."

"Did you read it to Emma and Phil? They looked like they were crying."

"Yeah, they found out that Kieran betrayed Sylvia." Isabella looked away and off into the distance and smiled.

"Is thag so? Did you like that part?"

"It was alright."

"It was her favorite part..." Both mine and Ray's eyes widened. My head started pounding and I grabbed it with my hand.

"Who's?" Ray asked.

"No one. It's alright. Ah Emma is coming back. You should go make sure she's doing okay." Isabella rushed Ray off and I stayed there watching her. She sighed when he met up with Emma.

"Why am I remembering her so much these days?" Isabella asked herself confused.

"She's already been gone for 19 years."

Ray's POV

"Ray!" Emma shouted. I walked over to her about to tell her what mama had just said when Emma froze and her eyes widened.

"Emma? What is it?" I asked. I was about to turn around when she grabbed my shoulder and didn't let me turn around.

"I-it's morning Ray! I'll tell you later." I looked at her face and the tired, but happy, face she just had a few seconds ago was now terrified and hidden behind a mask of a smile.

"... okay." The two of us walked back to the tree and sat under it. Mama soon walked up and a few of the kids ran at her. I looked around and didn't see Tira. She probably went back inside to read that book.

"Emma! Ray!" Phil shouted as he ran over. He was a few steps away when he stopped and looked worried.

"Emma what's wrong? Why do you look like that?" I looked back at Emma and she was hugging her knees to her chest.

"Later Phil." I answered for her. He came over and sat next to her. Seeing Phil come over to us, Gilda and Don did too. We all sat in silence until Sister Krone came out with Norman and we all went back inside. We stopped for a second when mama came up.

"Ray when you finished with the book could you give it back to me? I'd like to read it again." Mama asked with a smile. I nodded.

"Sure."

"Are you reading it to everyone here?"

"Yeah, Don, Gilda, and Norman got curious what made Emma and Phil cry like that so I'm going to read it to them from the beginning."

"Alright just make sure to give it to me when you're done."

"Okay." Mama left us alone and Emma dragged all of us into the library.

"Where's Tira?" Phil asked confused. Emma closed the door behind us and pushed us into the deepest corner of the library.

"Hey what's going on Emma?" Don asked concerned. The entire time her face was down and when she looked up we all froze.

"Tira... Tira fainted!"
