Third POV

Emma and Norman froze when they heard mama say Tira's name. How did mama know?!?! They didn't tell her anything!

"Isabella." Tira said simply without emotion. Mama just stood there staring at Tira shocked. Tira turned to Emma and Norman and gave them a smile.

"I got this guys so hurry up and run!" Tira said with a big smile. Norman and Emma didn't move for a few seconds but then nodded determined. Then the two both ran off leaving mama and Tira alone together. The wind blew and Tira breathed into deeply.

They were finally alone.

Isabella took a step forward with her hand stretching out.

"Is that really you Tira?" Isabella asked. Tira's smile was gone as soon as she looked away from Emma and Norman. She looked at Isabella and nodded. Isabella fell to her knees with wide eyes, staring up at Tira. Tira slowly walked up to Isabella and put her hands on her cheeks. She lightly put her forehead against Isabella's.

"I-I, I thought you died?" Isabella whispered out confused. She could feel Tira touching her even though Tira was cold. But it was aways like that. Tira's hand were almost aways icy cold like they were now.

"I did. I am." Tira replied simply. She let go of her face and pulled out Isabella's hair from her bun. Tira started fiddling with her hair while Isabella was thinking.

Tira died. She's dead. But she's here? Why? How? Isabella closed her eyes.

It was finally the ship date. Both her and her other best friend were dressed up all nice and it was strange because they were both being shipped out at once. This never happened before either. While she was confused and scared about the demons and what was about to happen her best friend was smiling and waving to the kids. Did she know? No. She couldn't have.

Their mama led them out of the house and towards the gate. Isabella was getting more and more scared and tense until she felt her friend grab her hand. Isabella looked at her and gave her a smile.

When they finally reached the gates there were two demons waiting there for them. But there was also a human.

An adult.

He smiled at the two of them. Isabella showed how confused she was while her friend just kept a blank face.

"Congratulations you two! You both know the secret!" The guy said happy. Isabella whipped her head over to her friend who was staring at the dude. She knew? And didn't tell her?!

"My name is-"

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Isabella yelled at her friend dad and mad. If only she told her they could have escaped together! They wouldn't be in this mess!

"Isabella! How rude! Do you even know who he is and what's he's going to offer you?" Their mama scolded. The man just smiled all business like.

"It's alright Lauren. But I really don't like being inturrupted." He said narrowing his eyes. Isabella looked away.

"Anyways I'm here to give you two an offer." He said like he was some kinda saint.

"What is it?" Isabella's friend asked. She was looking right into his eyes.

"Either both of you can become food or only one of you."

"What do you mean?"

"I can only let one of you train to be a mama. Of course I can't let both of you do it because then you'll both probably try and overthrow me so you both are going to have to choose who gets to live. That or you can both reject my offer and die together." Isabella froze.

She didn't want to die. No way, but she couldn't let her friend die like that! But she really wanted to live on to honor Leslie and give all the future kids real love and happiness! She couldn't do that dead, that was an obvious fact.

"So what's it going to be?" He asked with his arms stretched out. Before Isabella could answer her best friend stepped up and Isabella froze.

Was she going to take the spot and leave her to die?

"I'll die."

What?

Her friend looked over at her with a warm smile.

"Let Isabella get the training." Isabella grabbed onto her shoulder.

"What are you talking about?!?!?!!" She shouted with tears in her eyes.

"Isabella." She put her hand on hers. "We're close. Closer than anybody else here right? Closer than any sibling. We have a bond that no one can break no matter what they do to either of us. No matter how much we come to hate each other." Isabella hugged her extra tight. Her friend patted her back.

"It's okay. Live and love for me okay? Be the best mama you can but never hurt them okay? No matter what they do." Isabella nodded.

"Thanks." Isabella pulled away and her friend walked over to the demons.

"I love you little sister." She said with a happy smile. As soon as she said that the demon shoved his finger through her body killing her.

"I'm sorry Tira..." Isabella whispered to Tira. She turned around and tightly hugged Tira who was braiding her hair.

"I'm sorry I failed you."
