No one ever think that Zayn and Ashton would be perfect of each other, dämn, no even think that they would be together.

But when they come out to their friends, they are all happy for them.

They could see how Ashton brings out the best in Zayn, keeps him entertained and loved. And they see how Zayn keep Ashton on earth. Quite literally.

They all knew Ashton used to have a problem with his self esteem. They've seen him struggled and they've fought with him.

They see how Zayn kiss away all of Ashton insecurities. Makes him forget about all the bad things being thrown at him. Reminding him that there's someone who loves him greatly and that's Zayn.

But the higher you fly, the more it hurts once you crash down to the ground.

Ashton believed that Zayn love him with all his heart, believed that Zayn would never hurt him in any way possible.

So why did he found Zayn kissing Perrie at the back of his dressing room?

Ashton is confused, upset, mad, but most of all he feel betrayed.

How could Zayn do this to him? Why would he do this to him? Was he not good enough for him that he cheat on him?

"Who are you kidding Ashton? Of course you're not good enough for Zayn. He's Zayn Malik for god's sake." Ashton thought bitterly to himself.

Ashton always believed that Zayn loves him, that one day he would be married to Zayn and they would live together with their adopted child and live happily ever after.

But of course it was just some stupid dreams his naive mind make himself believe. Of course Zayn never had loved him.

It was all a lie. Or maybe it was all a prank.

A massive, cruel, unfunny prank that the universe pull on him.

He should've known really.

He should've known that Zayn is far too god, too perfect for him.

A perfect person need another perfect person. Like Perrie.

Not some broken boy that's far too pathetic for them. Like him.

Ashton is upset, mad, confused, sad, heartbroken. And when Zayn asked if he's okay, and he answer with a simple fine and Zayn just easily shrug like he believes it, his heart breaks even more. Zayn doesn't care for him.

And so Ashton distancing himself. Not going out as much and rather being cooped in his room in the comfort of his blade and sleeping pills.

He watch as the others grown worried but Zayn is just fine.

Zayn is fine.

With or without him.

Ashton doesn't know how many breakdown he had, how many degrading words his mind thrown at him, how many times he cut because his mind keep ringing at him to do it, how many times the boys knock on his door just to ask if he's okay.

But he remember how many times Zayn ask for him.

Once.

One time too late for him.

Because the one time Zayn finally knock on his door, Ashton has just given up.

The one time Zayn finally knock on his door, asking if he's okay with so much emotion layering his voice, Ashton has cuts too deep too many times and has swallow too many pills that his body could handle.

The one time Zayn finally knock over his door, Ashton has been laying on a pool of his own blood with little pills decorating around it.

Zayn screamed.

Screamed for Ashton. For him to wake up and hang on. Screamed for any of the boy. Screamed for any one to just calk 911 so they could save Ashton. Screamed for himself.

Because he's beed stupid. He's been ignoring the only source of light in his dark world. He's been avoiding his one love.

Screamed, because how could he be so stupid to cheat on Ashton.

He doesn't need to read the note Ashton wrote to know he messed up. Just at the sight of Ashton and he knew it was all his fault.

He keeps whispering "I'm sorry" over and over again. ""I love you" over and over again. "Wake up" over and over again.

He keeps whispering sweet nothings to the unconscious boy. Noticing how his breath keeps getting shallower and how his wrists keeps bleeding constantly.

He keep chanting prayer and promises.

Promise to make this right, promise to make it up to Ashton, promise he would show Ashton how much he actually love him, promise to show Ashton how much he worth it, promise that he won't be stupid and cheat on Ashton again.

He promise to love Ashton forever.

That is, if Ashton even wake up.....
