I looked for the dining room, that was softly pointed out with the same handwriting from Gotoh's note. Dragging my finger towards the square that had "Y/N's Room" on it I started my adventure.

The walls all looked the same, I inspected carefully, sometimes using Gyo, sometimes I could see the remains of nen here and there but nothing much, I kept a finger on the blueprint representing where I was as I turned and turned again. Thinking of ways to get rid of Kikyo, I couldn't possibly kill her. That was the easy way out, to die by the hands of a Zoldyck or a butler...

I could see how Illumi was always on alert mode when in these halls, the small pockets of nen were here and there at the same distance from each other. I could guess it had something to do with Kikyo but uncertainty kept me from elaborating on it. I reached my room sooner than I expected, casting a dubious look to the door that lead to Illumi's room.

Was he there? A sudden chill went over my spine as I thought about what could happen in this exam by Kikyo. If she asked me anything about Illumi, my 'supposed' fiancé I wouldn't know how to answer.

He wouldn't help me anyway, at least not right now. I walked into my room, changing for the F/C silk pyjamas as I sat on the unique looking writing-desk, there was a stack of thick rose scented paper over it, next to small open mahogany box, with a F/C soft cushion supporting a delicate rose gold wrist with engraved diamonds, my S/C fingers travelled along the borders of the extremely expensive watch. So... I was going to be tortured, tested, punished but they'd still spend a lot of money if I asked for something. That somehow didn't click in my head. There were at least 20 different kinds of pens on the table, and where once was a chunky desktop computer now laid a thin new laptop.

I shrugged the thoughts of wasted money when I could very well do without any of this fancy things, as I sat in the dark bergère chair, sinking into the soft cushioned seat. It was indeed comfortable, but it was time to start working on my pin extraction plan.

I couldn't take it off myself, so I had to make someone else yank it out of my forehead for me. I smiled as I started a character sheet on the most seductive lady, someone who could have anyone on their knees with a simple touch. I'd have to train my manipulation nen skills, thankfully as a conjurer I had 60% of affinity to manipulation and could reach level 6... I'd have to start small, and not be found out. I was Level 2 from Feitan's training, I needed a small living being to train with... But having asked for some stuff recently it'd have to wait, I'd have to focus on the book and start meditating and training more, I didn't want to force any of the butlers to take it out of me, I'd feel terrible if they were punished, that cut the easy way out of the situation... If I ever get into a very difficult situation, sadly manipulating one of them will have to do...

I wondered how bad would this test be, as I slowly filled the main character's sheet, the book had to be as good as all my others else Kikyo would notice something was wrong with it, and proceed to ruin my plans...

I forced myself to continue, and write as much of the context I needed until late night, when I decided to rest, I had to keep the perfect balance between not being killed during Kikyo's bridal examination and writing fast enough to get rid of Illumi's needle.

As I laid down on the fluffiest bed in the world, I noticed a small f/c table clock in the shape of my favourite animal on the bedside table. Two? I would think more about the quantity of clocks, but I soon drifted to sleep, exhaustion taking over.

I woke up to the soft timed knocks in my door, dragged myself out of the bed slowly as I rubbed my eyes and twisted the doorknob, Gotoh stood there, his glasses shiny, his dark hair slicked back and his clothes without a single wrinkle.

"Good Morning, Gotoh. How are you today?" He smiled for a slash of a second before returning to his polite butler mask.

"I'm good, Madame wishes to know if you'd like breakfast before or after the first tests." I stared at him for a while, wondering what the catch could be. Would I benefit or suffer with this decision? Probably. This could only mean the test was physical, but physically exhaustive or torture... I wondered if the food was also poisoned during breakfast, the dinner portion was a notch stronger than what I could bear, and my body couldn't fail me this soon. Looking into Gotoh's eyes, I smiled, questioning.

"What's breakfast?" His mask stayed on, but his eyes trembled for a while, wanting to leave mine yet forced to stay for politeness. "You know what I just woke up and I'm not feeling hungry, are the tests right now?"

"Yes, Miss." I took a deep breath; it was time to deal with the Madame.

"I'll get dressed quickly then." I carefully close the door, and dash to pick up the most comfortable clothes I could find. I stepped into the bathroom jumping as I shoved my left leg into some nice grey sweatpants, one look at my face in the mirror and I rolled my eyes. I had had better days. After adjusting all the clothes, I splashed my face with cold water, to awaken my senses. "I'm ready." I said loudly as I ran back to the door, opening it.

Gotoh was there, waiting patiently for me, and Illumi was coming out of his room, with a tiny smirk on his pale lips.
