Thank you for choosing this story and welcome to the first book of the Chess2LDN Chronicles. Each book focuses on a side of London whilst following a character's/characters' experiences.
I just wanted to clear a few things up before you carry on reading.
• I have used real places such as Tottenham to make it more realistic but I have also added in fictional places.
• Secondly, slang terms are used, especially in the dialogue which reflects London's urban culture.
• I have included pictures for major characters as to what they look like. Don't take them literally, they are just an imagination aid. The characters don't have to look like that, you can choose ;)
• There are 'words of wisdom' at the end of most chapters.
