Chapter 21: ASL

Rizu POV 

I open my eyes slightly as the sun lit up some of the room.  I rub my eyes and feel something wrapped around me.  I look down seeing that Luffy had wrapped his arms around my stomach and his legs wrapped on my waist.  

I blinked and saw that he had wrapped around me multiple times.  I turned my head seeing that Ace and Sabo were knocked out still with their blankets off of them.  I slowly prop myself up and try to unwrap Luffy off of me.  

As I do so Luffy grumbles and tightens his hold around me as he snuggles his head closer to me.  I watch as I stop my motions and he stops making a face as it contorts into a smile.  "Luffy."  I whisper out as I hold his shoulders.  He doesn't move or say anything as he snores.  

I sigh out softly and get up to cover the other two boys with the blankets.  I lay back down on the bed seeing that Ace and Sabo might be getting up in an hour or two.  But Luffy...won't be so easy to get off.  

I look back down at Luffy seeing his sleeping face as he tightens his hold around me again.  My face makes a gentle smile and my eyes sparkle with color.  Overtime they slowly filled with color like it once was before.  

I grab the blanket and cover the both of us.  As I stare up at the ceiling and turn my head to look at my mask, I slowly start to drift off to sleep once again.

"Luffy!  Wake up!"  Sabo  whisper yells at his brother trying to unwrap and pull him off.  "You idiot wake up!"  Ace goes as he punches his head.  I slowly open my eyes and look to my left seeing that Sabo and Ace are now awake and standing.  

Luffy now wakes up and feels the bump on his head as he unwraps one arm off of me.  "Ouch....."  he says as some tears well up.  I rub my eyes again and look down at him seeing the bump and look back up at the other two boys.  "Good morning."  I say as I pat Luffy's head.  

"Good morning."  Ace and Sabo reply back.  I look back down at Luffy and Sabo moves over to me.  "Sorry let me take him off of you."  he says as he grabs Luffy's arms and looks over at Ace. "Help me."  Sabo says as Ace rolls his eyes and grabs onto Luffy's body.  "Let go of her Luffy!"  Ace says.  

Luffy looks at them and wraps his arm back around me and holds on tight.  "What?!  Why???"  he asks as he leans his head against me.  "Because we said so!"  Sabo and Ace yelled.  They boys continue to pull as Luffy continues to hold onto me.  I sigh and pat the three boy's head.  They stop and look at me.  

"It's okay."  I begin and look down at Luffy.  "Luffy could you unwrap yourself around me.  I need to use the restroom."  I say and he looks up at me and nods with a big smile.  "Sure!"  he says and snaps back his limbs back in place.  "Thank you."  I say as I pick up my mask and put it on as I head towards the door.  

I look back at the boys.  "I'll be seeing you guys at the front of the house."  I say before I leave the room.

As I walk out into the hall and head to the bathroom, I'm met with silence with the occasional chirping.  I sigh as I enter the bathroom, making sure I knocked to see if anyone was in there.  Seeing that no one was there I made my way to the sink area where Dadan had gotten me a toothbrush and some other belongings.  

I picked up the toothbrush and began to brush my teeth as I dozed off. 

Flashback

After saving Luffy he dragged me along the forest showing me different parts of it.  "This is our training ground!"  Luffy exclaimed as he ran around the clear area with a board that placed in the ground with dash marks on it.  I walked over to it to see it split in three sections.  'Sabo, Ace, and Luffy.'  with more marks on the other two than Luffy.
