Christina's POV
I was sitting in the music class, behind a piano, waiting for my students AND they are SO late. Yes, I'm a piano teacher and a voice coach. I teach in high school in Sacramento in California. My music room is interesting and cool. I have posters all around, some posters that I really like to look at and which remind me of good times. Posters of the Cimorelli band, one from Lisa and another one from Amy, well they both became very successful singers. Lisa is a solo singer and Amy is a country singer. I really like to remember the old days, which were great, but now they just seem so painful.
But five years passed and everything is different. But I still love my sisters to the bottom of my heart. I talked to Katherine one month ago over the phone. We are both very busy. She's engaged to her boyfriend Andrew. I talked to Lisa a week ago, she's doing great in New York, I'm so happy for her and her music career. I talked to Amy a week ago, she's like the new Miranda Lambert. She's the person that I told first about getting me and Nick engaged, she's also busy with raising her daughter Bella. After all I still think that she blames me for the band, well band fell apart five years ago and she should already move on. Well, I talked to Lauren yesterday, she's doing great. She goes to college and she lives in Long Beach, with her boyfriend Brian. And finally Dani, she goes to the same college as Lauren, I talked with her yesterday also, she's supposed to be single and still lives at home.
Yeah, my family is special, but the best. I was remembering the old times, but which is the best song for the old times? I think we all know that beautiful song. Our song. My fingers touched the piano keys and the melodies began echoing in the music room.
I don't need a thousand people screaming my name
I don't need overnight Hollywood fame
I don't need platinum records up on the wall
I don't need a Lamborghini in the garage
Oh whoa oh
Those things won't last forever
Oh whoa oh
What I got is so much betterYou and me on a summer night
Park that car, dancing in the headlightsYou and I, late night drives
Your hand in mine and all your time
I don't need money in my pocket
Diamonds on my neck
The time I spend with you
I know I'll never forget
You and me is more than enough
Cause you make me feel like a million bucksI don't need a jettsetter up in the sky
I don't need a name dropping guy
I don't need a chauffeur waiting on me
I don't need more than a T-shirt and jeans
Those things won't last forever
Oh whoa oh
What I got is so much betterYou and me on a summer night
Park that car, dancing in the headlights
You and I, late night drivesYour hand in mine and all your time
I don't need money in my pocket
Diamonds on my neck
The time I spend with you
I know I'll never forget
You and me is more than enough
'Cause you make me feel like a million bucksYou make me feel
You make me feel like a million bucks
Like a million bucks yeahYou and me on a summer night
Park that car, dancing in the headlights
You and I, late night drives
Your hand in mine and all your time
I don't need money in my pocket
Diamonds on my neck
The time I spend with you
I know I'll never forgetYou and me is more than enough
'Cause you make me feel like a million bucksYou make me feel
You make me feel
'Cause you make me feel like a million bucksSuddenly someone started clapping, I turned around and saw some of my students, which were late for the music practice and even a couple of teachers clapping so excitedly. I was smiling to myself like crazy and said thank you to all of them, but there was a small thought in my head.
"I still got it!"
