Mikey x reader (song fic)

I just wanted to do this (if you say I didn't do one for him yet, there's Memories) - so let's do this!

Title of oneshots: Mad At Disney

No one's p.o.v

"I'm mad at Disney, Disney
They tricked me, tricked me

Mikey and (Y/n) were in her room, they just finished watching the new Mulan movie on Disney plus (plz no spoilers), Mikey was so happy from it. (Y/n) though.... felt a bit sad, she's getting close to giving up on Disney movies... which sounds weird. Yes, they're all great movies, but she grew up with thinking boys always liked you when you realized you liked them.

"But now I'm twenty-something
I still know nothing
About who I am or what I'm not"

The innocent turtle was about to ask his best friend/crush her favorite part of the movie, but noticed her fists clenching. "Dudette... is something wrong??" Mikey asks confused, so (Y/n) looks up at Mikey with a smile. Her smile made Mikey even more confused as she says "yeah, pretty much, why??" (Y/n) didn't want him to know. Despite her showing it to her friends, she doesn't want her cute crush to hate her for hating something so innocent. (Y/n) doesn't think Mikey would understand why she hates Disney, why she thinks she's giving up on love.

Yet now she can't avoid keeping it a secret anymore, so she turns off the tv and looks Mikey in the eyes saying "I feel like I hate Disney movies now." Mikey's eyes widen at (Y/n)'s words as he asks "why?!" (Y/n) sighs at this and crossed her arms. "Okay, let me put it this way - remember Beauty & The Beast?" (Y/n) asks, trying to think of a good way to explain it. Mikey blushed slightly, he always loved watching that (and Trolls), but he loved that it helped him. It helps him believe that (Y/n) could like him back despite him being a mutant walking-talking turtle.

"Yeah, I love that movie!!" Mikey says happily, (Y/n) softly facepalmed as she says "no one can ever find their true love. It's not like if you think you share a loving look with someone, they're gonna feel the same way. Not everything can be like that... nothing can be like that" she hugs herself after saying that. Mikey tilts his head confused "you never know, dudette! Love is always different for everyone. Like Donnie and Casey, April with that new dude-" "yeah, that new dude was one of my exes - that's my point."

Mikey blinked a few times confused "I've had my fair share of boyfriends, yet they always left me... never told me why, but we met in cute ways. Kind of like how the Princess found her Prince, the only difference was.. I found dudes in real life. Every single stupid dude!" (Y/n) started to get mad now "it's so ridiculous!! Disney is tricking everyone. You can't find a dude, o-or a girl, and instantly fall in love like it's a fairy tale!" (Y/n) says and grabs the sides of her head.

"So call me a pessimist
But I don't believe in it
Finding a true love's kiss is bullsh*t"

The two sat in silence for a second, but Mikey says "well... maybe your fairy tale is different" (Y/n) looks at Mikey confused. "Huh??" "Everyone's story is different, Rapunzel met a crook, Tiana met a frog-prince. Belle met a beast that got to turn human, but maybe you'll be the first (Y/n) (L/n)!! It sounds like a great story. The one hidden princess that met with boy after boy, but turned out to actually find her true love after thinking she was alone. She found him after she thought she was done with love!!" Mikey explains happily to (Y/n).

(Y/n) liked seeing Mikey being the optimist to her being a pessimist about this, so she laughs a little saying "okay then, Mikey. When do you think I'll find my so called 'prince charming'??" Mikey blushed and nervously laughed.

"I-I...." Mikey stutters out and starts scratching the back of his neck, (Y/n) took that as him thinking it would never happen. (Y/n) softly rolls her eyes saying "yeah, you're right, it probably won't happen until I'm thirty." Mikey's eyes widen as he says "that's not-" "it's fine, Mikey! I was already on that track anyways. It's just good to know that I'm not the only one thinking this-" Mikey grabbed his t-phone instead. Typing into Google Translate what he wanted to say, since he knows words aren't his strong suit.

(Y/n) tilted her head confused "what are you-" Mikey lifted up his pointer finger and pushed the speaker button for (Y/n) to hear what he typed. "(Y/n), just listen; you are an amazing girl, and I think you'd find your beast to your beauty." What she heard made her laugh "you already know how I dated Mondo, a lot of mutants are dumb." Mikey felt sad, but he tried not to show it as he started to type again, so (Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "Mikey, just say what you want to-" "I meant that it's not going to be a gecko, it might not even be anyone you can think of."

That confused her, but Mikey types quicker than before and (Y/n) didn't get to say a thing "because I think that it will be a mutant turtle. One who you already really car about" (Y/n) laughed a little at the typo, but realized what Mikey was implying. 'Does he mean him?? Oh my gosh, I didn't think he'd actually have a thing for me after everything we've been through. I literally complained to him about every dude I was with, I thought he just wanted to be friends.' Mikey facepalms at the typo and was about to correct it, but (Y/n) slowly pushed down his t-phone.

They're both blushing a soft pink as (Y/n) says "M-Mikey... are you trying to say that you think.." 'wait, I wanna mess with him.' "My prince charming is Raph??" (Y/n) says in a joking tone, Mikey could tell she was joking though. Mikey gasped dramatically saying "oh no, Raph's gonna be mad at me for telling his secret." The two laugh and (Y/n) says "but no, seriously, are you saying my prince charming is... you?" Mikey blushed. Yet he smiles big saying "are you the pizza guy, because you can deliver, dudette" that made (Y/n) blush as she chuckled.

"Call me Pooh, because all I want is you, honey" (Y/n) says and wraps her arms around Mikey's neck, he smiles big and they leaned in. Doing a sweet kiss before Mikey leaned away saying "true love's kiss does exist, dudette." (Y/n) nods saying "yeah... and I'll only know that it is whenever I'm with you" with that they started another kiss. Then they just decided to watch Brother Bear, it's a great movie that doesn't have to deal with true love anything. Well, not like any of the Disney Princess movies do at least, there's a brotherly bond between a man and a little boy.
