I had a dream.
That I got everything I wanted.

Peter walked out of the elevator and into the Avengers penthouse. The place he had called home for five months now.

"Hey guys I'm home," he said as he entered the common room.

The Avengers had become his family after his aunt May died and Tony adopted him.

Not what you think and if I'm being honest.
It might have been a nightmare.
To anyone who might care.

They didn't reply.

All the Avengers were in the common room, sitting around another boy around his age.

Tony was the first to notice him and introduced the stranger.

"Oh hey Pete, didn't see you there. Meet Jason Stark. I adopted him today. And he's so much better than you. Also I gave him you're room. I know you don't mind you can just go stay with your aunt."

He had gotten replaced.

His eyes filled with tears.

He ran to his former room and found his bags outside the door.

Thought I could fly.
Stepped of the golden mm.

He grabbed his bags and went back to the common room.

"Alright. I've gone," he announced in his voice unsteady.

"Whatever brat," Steve Rogers snapped.

He felt his heart shatter as his family did nothing.

Nobody cried.
Nobody even noticed.
Saw them standing right there.
Kinda thought they might care.

He ran into the elevator before braking down. His body shook with his sobs.

"FRIDAY roof," he managed to cry out.

Without saying anything she took him to the roof. He dragged himself out of the elevator and stood on the roof.

I had a dream.
That I got everything I wanted.

He was about to leave the only home he had left.

He jumped of the ledge, free falling for a few seconds before shooting his web at the closest building and propelling himself upward.
