Year 779 ([Name]= 29, Vegeta= 47) [Kuriya= 4, Aoi= 3, Trunks= 13, Gohan= 22, Goten= 13] Approx. July 779
"Just so you know, you're making a bigger deal about this than what it actually is," Vegeta said to the two beside him as the group continues to trek to the living room.
"I am? I'd like to think this is something you should be rather worried about. And, the fact you're asking me to downplay it genuinely bugs me." Bulma sighed, plopping her butt down on the loveseat closest to the hallway. "You, at least, owe [Na'] some sort of explanation."
"I second that." The Queen spoke up, giving her husband a look as they sit down.
"Of course, of course. I never said I wasn't going to explain. I just said that it's not as big as you might think..." He sighed, his right hand rubbing at his left shoulder. "Hindsight is 20/20, that's how the phrase goes, yes?"
"You're stalling." The human muttered, crossing her arms across her chest.
"Yeah, I do that a lot." Was all the King said before they all sat there in silence.
"So, even if it's being over estimated, do you think you can explain, instead of hyper-stalling on just explaining?" [Name] huffed, looking to the side and giving her husband a glance.
"Yes, yes. I apologize." One more sigh. "Anyway, the whole Kakarrot slept with [Na'] thing... It was a dream."
"A dream?" Bulma questioned.
"Yeah—a dream. That's why I said the whole hindsight thing. I mean, I do find this extremely serious. Because, it wasn't just a dream. It felt real. Extremely real. And to make matters worse, I wasn't the only one who experienced the dream. In the dream, he took advantage of her. Well, said he also experienced the dream, and told me he did. And, when I questioned him, he said that because he thought it was just a dream that it was safe for him to well—do what he did. And, that's what bothers me most.
"Do I think Kakarrot would actually do anything outside a dream? No. Or, at least, I hope no. I'd like to think I know him better than that after all this time. I assume that, in truth, it was a one-time thing. Though, it bothers me a lot. Consider my trust in him negligible. For right now, I barely trust him enough to read a digital clock and give me the time."
"He actually said that?" [Name] was genuinely shocked. She thought she knew him better than that.
"I'm actually going to say, I'm not fully surprised." Bulma muttered, feeling the pairs of looks she got in return. "I just mean I've known him since he was Trunks' age. He's kind of naughty, dirty, kinky, raunchy, horny—Any adjective for that shit. Okay, I got it, his self-control is nearly nonexistent."
"Definitely. The other night, the night of the dream, he literally asked me if I was okay with a three-way."
"Uh, no fucking thanks." The Queen huffed.
"I figured you'd say that. Yeah, I told him no, and that I'd draw and quarter him if he tried anything."
"You're kind of sadistic sometimes." The human laughed.
"You were the one who thought I was underreacting. So, all I can say is, you're a hypocrite." Vegeta laughed too. "But did something actually happen? No. Is the damage there? For me, it is. I'll have to explain it to everyone, but I don't want anyone to think something happened, okay?"
"Do you want me to make some calls for you?" Bulma asked.
"If you feel so inclined—Sure." The King answer, shrugging as he looked to his side at his wife.
