STUDENTS WERE free to go home for Christmas if they wanted to. Tomorrow, the train would arrive, and bring them home.

But Y/N was hesitant. She didn't want to leave Draco by himself, but she didn't want Sirius to spend Christmas all by himself.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were spending Christmas at the burrow. And with Mione feeling upset with her, she didn't really think she'd be welcome there, so it was Hogwarts or Grimmauld place for her.

Y/N stood on the Astronomy tower with Draco. They sort of argued about Y/N staying behind to help the blonde, because she really want to stay.

"Dad will understand! I'll just tell him that I plan on giving Filch some Christmas surprise or something of that sort," the girl pressed on.

Draco shook his head, "It really is fine, Y/N. I don't want you to spend Christmas without your father," he said, looking at Y/N in the eyes.

"But-" she was cut off when Draco gave her a look, telling her that she cannot win this argument. A defeated sigh left her lips, "Fine, but do you promise to at least write? I cannot come back knowing you're dead or something."

The blonde let out a chuckle, and pulled the girl to his chest, "I'll write to you, I promise," he said.

Y/N looked up at him, and playfully pouted, "I also forgot to get you a gift- well, to be fair, I forgot to buy everyone gifts," she said.

"It's alright," Draco chuckled, looking down at her, "Besides, I've got the greatest present right here!" he added, and Y/N couldn't help but roll her eyes.

The cheesiness in the air was very thick, and Y/N didn't know whether she liked or disliked it. Somewhere in the middle, maybe? (But I think she liked it more than she disliked it.)

"I think I know what it is," the girl looked at him, bored.

Draco couldn't help but let out a chuckle, "What is it, then?" he asked, tilting Y/N's head up with his finger.

"I don't want to seem so.. assuming," the girl playfully rolled her eyes.

"Come on, just say it," said Draco.

His beautiful eyes glistened with happiness, and in all honesty, that was enough for Y/N to feel happy.

She shook her head with a slight laugh, "No," she laughed.

"Please," the blonde pleaded.

Oh, how can she just say no to him?

Y/N just laughed, and straightened her posture. She then proudly said, "Me."

Draco smiled, his eyes filled with such emotions, "There it is," he said. For a moment, they just stared at each other. But after a moment more, they ended up laughing, "That's cheesy."

"You started it," the girl laughed, and wrapped her arms around his neck. Their faces were closer than before, and none of them minded one bit. The air got a bit gloomy for some reason, their faces fell, "I know it's weird and all, but I'll miss you."

Wrapping his arms around her tighter, Draco tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, "Why would it be weird? I mean, I'll miss you too, even though I know you don't expect that to come out of my mouth," he laughed, making the girl softly chuckle, "It's only for two weeks. Not that long."

The girl nodded, "I know," she said.

"Be careful," Draco had said after a while.

Y/N smiled, "You too," she said, "I'll see you in two weeks."
