IT'S FUNNY how time went by so fast. It's like riding on the fastest broom there is. Only a few days ago, Umbridge was the headmistress of Hogwarts, and now, Dumbledore is back, and Y/N couldn't be happier.

Today was the day that everyone goes home for the summer. And as much as the Gryffindor hated to admit it, she was sure to miss the castle. But she knows she'll be back before she knew it.

Although, there was something she needed to do before she leaves.

Climbing up the stairs to the Astronomy tower, Y/N took a deep breath. It'll just be a simple goodbye, and maybe an apology for snapping at him when he tried to stop her from basically risking her life to blow up finals.

She wasn't sure if Draco would be up there, but she had a hunch.

And she was right.

Draco stood by the railings, just looking at the beautiful, peaceful scenery. His blonde hair softly danced with the wind, but he didn't bother fixing it. Merlin, he's a pretty boy.

"Hey," Y/N managed to squeak out after a little.

The blonde turned around, his eyebrow raising at the sight of Y/N, "What are you doing here?" he asked.

Y/N, remembering their first meeting, smirked, "I could ask you the same."

Draco couldn't help but roll his eyes, "I'm a prefect, and you're not supposed to be here," he said, riding along.

Waving her hands sarcastically around the air, Y/N said, "Oh no, I'm caught by mr. Ferret."

The two laughed. If someone saw, or heard them, they'd think they were crazy.

Y/N walked towards the railings, leaning against it. She took in the fresh air, closing her eyes to appreciate it. It might be hard to believe, but she doesn't get much fresh air at home, since they live in muggle London, there are cars, and pollution.

Air was different in Hogwarts, because they only have carriages, and there are so many trees that the air freshens up everytime.

For a moment, the two were silent, not knowing how to start a conversation, but after fighting with the Angels and Devils in his mind, Draco finally managed to let put a few words, "Another year goodbye, huh?"

Glancing at him, the girl nodded, "Yeah, funny how time flies so fast," she said, and took a deep breath, "Look, Draco, I'm sorry for snapping at you when you were just trying to get me out of trouble. And I'm sorry for petrifying last time, too."

Draco shook his head, a laugh coming out from his pink lips, "It's alright- besides the petrifying me part, that's something I will never forget," he rolled his eyes, "But you were right, anyways. I should really loosen up a little. Live my life."

Y/N smiled, "You actually really need to," the two laughed, "Write to me?"

The blonde tilted his head, a genuine smile on his face, "What? This summer?"

"Yeah!" the girl exclaimed, "Write to me this summer, I'll show you how to loosen up, and live your life," she smirked.

Draco thought for a moment, although there weren't much to think about. Next year would be Hell for him, for sure, so why not take this chance to loosen up before he breaks himself?

He smiled, giving the girl a small nod, "I'll write to you."

It was really early in the morning, and Y/N sat inside the train cart with Harry, Hermione, and Ron. They watched as Hogwarts faded into the view, trees taking in their sights, "Do you think next year would be better?" Y/N couldn't help but ask.
