THE COLD snow touched their feet as they walked on the bridge towards Hogsmeade.

Y/N walked behind Hermione, Harry, and Ron, just silently following along. The three were arguing about who the half-blood prince is, and the potions book that Harry has.

If Hermione didn't force to go with them, she wouldn't really be here. She would probably be with Draco helping him mend the cabinet or something.

Besides, after Harry basically snapped at her, she didn't want to talk to him unless he apologized. It wasn't very kind of him to snap at her without any particular reason. Sure, she might be annoying at times, but she knows when to draw the line.

Harry seemed to notice her silence, because then, he dropped to her side, walking by her side, "Hey," he started. Y/N glanced at him, her face saying nothing. Harry looked down at the snow, "I'm sorry about last night. I just.. have a lot in mind right now."

Y/N nodded, "I understand," she said, but deep inside, she knew she didn't. It's like slowly, she was drifting away from the trio, and there was no way to stop it. I mean, what would they say if they knew she was helping a death eater?

More importantly, what would her dad say? She hasn't written to him for a couple of days, he's probably worried or something. But really, what would she say? Should she tell him, hey, dad, so I'm actually helping a death eater kill the headmaster. I hope you don't mind. Love you, see you soon.

The girl shivered at the thought of Sirius disowning her. But could he? Y/N didn't want to think about the percentage of the possibility.

Harry gave a small smile, and just stayed silent. That is, until they heard Horace Slughorn. They all stopped, then turned to Harry, who looked at the professor with such interest, "Does anyone fancy a butterbeer?"

The next thing they knew, they were walking through the doors of the three broomsticks. The four teenagers sat down, and immediately ordered some butterbeer, Hermione asking for some ginger in hers.

It wasn't the time, but Y/N's mind imagined the waiter cutting some of Ron's hair, and putting it in Hermione's drink, making her chuckle to herself, which of course, she received weird looks from the three for.

But she stopped when she saw Draco Malfoy. They held eye contact for a moment, but Draco looked down, and walked towards the restrooms. Y/N was sure Harry saw him too.

"Oh, bloody hell," Ron suddenly said, looking away from a table. The other three glanced at where he looked, and Y/N couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

Hermione rolled her eyes, "Honestly, Ronald. They're just holding hands."

Y/N glanced at them again, and scrunched her nose in disgust when she saw the two kiss, "And snogging," she said, shaking her head, and just looking down at their table.

"I'd like to leave," Ron said suddenly.

Hermione looked at him in disbelief, "What? You can't be serious," she scoffed.

"That happens to be my sister," Ron said, a sarcastic smile on his face.

"So?" she chuckled sarcastically, "What if she looked over here and saw you snogging me? Would you expect her to get up and leave?"

For a moment, they were quiet at Hermione's words. Y/N looked around, trying not to feel the tension in the air. Suddenly, Harry waved at someone behind Hermione, making them all look up, "Harry, m'boy!" exclaimed Horace Slughorn, walking towards them.

Harry stood up, and shook the professor's hand, "Hello, sir. So wonderful to see you," he smiled.

"And you!" Slughorn exclaimed. He seemed drunk.

"So what brings you here?" asked Harry. The three gave each other confused glances, but nevertheless, said nothing.

"Oh, three broomsticks and I go way back! Longer than I'd care to admit! In fact, I remember when it was simply one broomstick!" Slughorn chuckled, then accidentally tilted it slightly, making some of his butterbeer spill on Y/N, "Oh, hands on deck, miss Black!"

Y/N moved her chair slightly back, grabbing some napkins, and dabbing her jeans with them. oh Godric, now I smell like butterbeer.

Their butterbeers arrived, but Slughorn paid no notice to it. Y/N let out a sigh, and took a sip from her drink, "Heavens," she mumbled with such satisfaction as the sweet drink hit her throat.

"Listen, m'boy. In the old days, I used to throw together the occasional supper and invite a select student or two. Would you be game?" Slughorn asked Harry.

The boy who lived smiled, "I'd consider it an honor, sir."

Horace turned to Hermione, "You'd be welcome too, Granger," he said.

Hermione put her cup down after taking a sip, a mustache of foam left on her face, "I'd be delighted, sir," she smiled.

"Brilliant! Look for my owl," Horace nodded, then glanced at Y/N, and Ron, "Good to see you, Wallenby, Black," he said, and with that, left to go.

Y/N raised an eyebrow, "Did he really just ignore the fact that he spilled butterbeer on me, and didn't invite me, and Ron to some kind of gathering?" she scoffed, finishing her butterbeer.

"What're you playing at?" Ron asked Harry.

But Y/N ignored them. She was pissed to say the least. Horace was playing favorites! And no wonder she's not a favorite- she's Sirius Black's daughter.

She just looked around, then stopped when she saw Draco Malfoy exiting the three broomsticks. Y/N stood up, catching the three's attention, "I suddenly remembered that I still have something I need to buy! Don't wait for me," she said, and ignoring the weird looks she got from the three, she put on her coat, and just walked out the three broomsticks.

The cold snow touched her feet, but she didn't care as she walked towards where Draco headed.

But then, someone pulled her in an alleyway, making her yelp, but the person was quick to cover her mouth, "Hey, it's just me," the person softly said.

Y/N knew exactly who it was, so she was easy to calm down, and remove his hand off her mouth, "Godric- don't scare me like that!" she whisper yelled.

Draco couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. Even though this year is hard, he always found a way to smile whenever he's with her.

"You shouldn't have went out you know. It's about to get messy," said Draco, his voice low.

"Isn't that exactly why I'm supposed to be with you?" Y/N raised an eyebrow, "What have you started?"

The blonde didn't want to tell her, so instead, he just said, "It's better if you don't know."

She scoffed, then crossed her arms, "I already know too much, I don't see how it'll get worse."

Draco sighed, but as he was just about to speak, they heard a loud scream, making his eyes go wide. Y/N looked at him, confused. But he didn't give her a chance to ask, because he grabbed her wrist, and pulled her towards one of the passage ways in the castle.

The blonde didn't want Y/N anywhere near danger, even if he himself is a danger. It was better if people didn't know she's somehow helping him.

Because if they knew- it'll be the end. For the both of them.
