THE JOURNEY was long. They walked until the sun was down, and walk once again when the sun comes up. It was as tiring as it could get.

Besides that, Y/N could feel Ron's bottling up. She saw the way he glared at both Harry and Hermione when they get too close. It could be the Horcrux, but she knew it wasn't just that- he was really jealous. But there were more important manners at hand right now.

The four of them somehow found themselves in the middle of no where, just like they have the past few days, weeks, months- Merlin, the girl had no idea what day it is. There was nothing but their tiny tent that wasn't very tiny in the inside.

Y/N sat in a little corner, her eyes glued on one space. She was worried. For the Weasleys, for Remus, Tonks, the baby- Sirius. Her thoughts were all over the place.

I mean, she saved her father before- when Bellatrix herself almost stunned Sirius with the killing curse, Y/N thought she was going to lose her father. But what about now? She won't be there to save Sirius in any kind of danger, not even to help him up if he trips over, which he usually does.

The girl couldn't help but remember their times in Grimmauld place. Sirius would often trip, but Y/N didn't really know if he was actually clumsy or he was doing it on purpose to make her smile. That was right when she went home from Hogwarts last year, when she felt like everything made no sense, everything was wrong, everything felt.. broken.

A sigh left her lips as she fiddled with the bracelet her father gave her. She felt her finger, too, but was disappointed to not feel the ring Draco gave her there.

You left it, remember? You gave up on him, why feeling sad now? She couldn't help but ask herself. But the thing was, she never gave up on him. Even without the ring, all the memories they made, the love they have- it never left her mind and chest.

"Oh my god."

Both Ron and Y/N turned when Hermione let out a gasp. She was cutting Harry's hair, but the bushy haired girl stopped.

Harry froze, "What?" he asked, then Hermione stood up. When he didn't receive an answer, the boy who lived felt his hair, thankful that it didn't feel ruined.

"I'll tell you in a minute," said Hermione.

Y/N followed her towards their little dining area, "Maybe you can tell us now?" she suggested as Harry stepped beside her.

Hermione looked up from her book- which one? The mischievous Gryffindor was not sure, "The sword of Gryffindor, it's goblin made!" Hermione exclaimed.

Harry and Y/N shared a look, not really getting what Hermione was trying to say, "Brilliant," said Harry, putting both of his thumbs up.

The bushy haired girl looked up at them in disbelief, and Y/N only gave her a shrug, clearly clueless of what was happening. She can get very dumb at times, too, you know?

"No, you don't understand," said Hermione, "Dirt and rust have no effect on the blade. It only takes in that which makes it stronger," she continued, showing the two the book she had.

"Okay..?" Harry said, still confused as ever.

Hermione couldn't help but let a sigh slip out of her lips- it wasn't really Harry's fault he's not as smart as Hermione, anyways, "Harry, you already destroyed one horcrux, right?" Hermione said, circling around the table as Harry took the book in his hands, "Tom Riddle's diary in the chamber of secrets!" she exclaimed, sitting down.

"With a Basilisk fang!" exclaimed Harry, "If you tell me you've got one of those in that bloody beaded bag of yours.."

Y/N exchanged her eyes from Harry to Hermione, watching as such scenes unfolded in front of her, "Don't you see?" asked Hermione from her spot, "in the chamber of secrets, you stabbed the Basilisk with the sword of Gryffindor! Its blade is impregnated with Basilisk venom!"

"So.. You're saying.." Y/N said, trailing off a bit because she knew it was not the time for jokes- but she just couldn't help herself! "That the solution to our problem are sword venom babies?"

Hermione got a random rubble from the floor and threw it at Y/N, making the mischievous Gryffindor yelp in pain, and pout at Hermione.

"It only takes in that which makes it stronger," Harry had said, sitting down and ignoring Y/N's ridiculous jokes.

"Exactly!" Hermione exclaimed, thankful that someone finally got her point, "Which is why-"

Harry didn't even let her finish, "It can destroy horcruxes," he said.

At this point, Y/N understood what they were saying, it was just hard for the words to sink in a bit, because like the author, it was literally like three in the morning, and she couldn't be more sleep deprived.

"That's why Dumbledore left it to you in his will," said Hermione.

Y/N couldn't believe what she was hearing- Dumbledore left them things? And she didn't get any? How could that old man forget her? Y/N Black!

To be fair, you did help plot his murder. One side of her brain said, while the other couldn't help but agree, Fair point.

"You are brilliant, Hermione, truly!" exclaimed Harry as he browsed through the book.

Hermione smiled, "Actually, I'm highly logical, which allows me to look past extraneous details. And perceive clearly that which others overlook," she rambled on.

"Yeah," Harry agreed, "There's only one problem, though-"

The green eyed boy was not able to continue when their lights went out. The three shared a look, then suddenly, Ron came into view, "The sword was stolen," he said, the opened his lighter to bring back the light, "Yeah, I'm still here," the redhead had said, clearly sarcastic.

Uh oh, Y/N thought, this isn't going to end good.

And she was right. That night, things went south for the four of them.
