"Rainbow"
Albedo watched the cheeks of a familiar adventurer turn red as it puffed up at the sight before them. "Ah I see... So this is Y/n's reaction when she's jealous," Y/n looked at Albedo and mumbled, "Me?Jealous? What do you mean?" Albedo's facepalms with a grin. "You've been watching Barbara and Bennet talk ever since we came to the cathedral, and you're telling me that those puffed up cheeks you make are not from jealousy?" Albedo pinches their cheeks. Y/n looked away, gently pushing his hands away from their face, touching their red cheeks. "Y/n!" They hear the voice and of an angel calling out their name as Barbara ran over to them. Bennet followed suite, dashing onto their space. Y/n's heart pounded in their chest as the idol ran over to them with the misfortunate male.
Bennet pouted once again. Had it always been a bad time that he would find the adventurer he grew fond of to be with the handsome alchemy prodigy? The bruises from slipping and falling while running around Mondstadt did not fail to amaze how his bad luck was much more prominent in this fine afternoon. What was extra-painful was the way he saw them blushed from whatever the amiable gentleman says. Barbara noticed his gaze, and grinned. "It's Y/n and Albedo! Why don't we say hi?" said the idol as she skipped over to where the duo stayed. Bennet followed, happily running to them, although another incident stroke him down. He tripped and fell. 'Isn't it just splendid to trip in front of your crush,' he mumbled, blushing as the three ran over to his lying figure. "Are you okay, Bennet?" Y/n asked, caressing his cheek, making him choke on his spit. "M-me?! Yes! I am perfectly splendid!" It made Bennet happy to know that he was surrounded by caring people even if his luck sucks.
After a small chat, did Bennet join you and Albedo upon exiting the cathedral. It didn't take too long until they heard a familiar explosion. The prodigal alchemist laughed, "Looks like I'll have to go get her or else Master Jean will be furious." Before he had ran out of Y/n's sight, he winked, fast enough for Y/n to get, and boy, did she blush hard.
Bennet, on the other hand, was fixated on the way their cheeks blushed, and their smile become a shy grin.
"So... wanna do some adventuring?" Bennet snapped to the figure's suggestion. "Adventuring w-with me? I- I'm not really sure if that's a good idea..." Y/n smiled, "It is a good idea to adventure with a friend, right?" The male adventurer blushed as his hand was sought. "W-wait, wait, wait a minute. I am the unluckiest person in Teyvat and you're here telling me you want to adventure with me?" Y/n smiled and nodded. "That's because I think that the day is perfectly splendid for an adventure!" Y/n giggles and drags Bennett outside the walls of Mondstadt.
"It's raining out there though?" Bennet pouted. He really wanted to adventure.
"That's why umbrellas are invented, no?"Despite so many misfortune befalling on the two like fighting a ruin guard who had seen them from above, and the eye of the storm falling down on Bennet, these two were having fun for once. Y/n was a dendro Catalyst, and it had been good enough that these meant more damage for the burning monsters. Bennet never finished a commission that fast, that was for sure. It was still raining but the rain did help them finish fast.
"See? Isn't it fun?" Y/n grinned as poppies bloomed where her Elemental burst stood. The pure elemental energy had created a parasol for both of them. Bennet and Y/n sat down on the grassy fields. Bennet was in awe. The elemental umbrella guided the two from the rain as well.
"You know... I've never went out adventuring with someone in such a long time... I miss this," Bennet smiled. "Oh look!" Bennet peered over their shoulder, seeing Y/n pluck a patch of grass. "It's a four-leaf clover! I told you the day would be perfectly splendid!" Y/n grinned as Bennet's eyes started to water."Uwaaa! You're crying!" Bennet didn't even realize that his cheeks were turning red, and his tears started to fall. "Sorry! It's just that... I never experienced a good day like this..." Bennet sniffled.
"You know... sometimes people have their ups and downs, and if you are stuck in the bottom, just remember that after the rain," as the rain had finished, right in front of the was a rainbow.
"There's always a rainbow."
