Mornings in Moonshine Mansion were calmed by the soft, chirping of the birds that nested in the surrounding trees. Little beams of light were shining through the slightly parted curtains, onto Y/n's closed eyes. The young witch stirred slightly on her sleep, groaning softly as she stretched out her legs.
Her eyes fluttered open, her dark room was illuminated only slightly by the early morning rays poking through her window. She rolled onto her back, staring up at the ceiling as she tangled her hand into the top of her hair.
Some more stirring came from next to her, wrapped up In her cover was a soundly sleeping Draco. She assumed that rolling onto her back had disturbed his sleep as she was no longer touching him.
She stared at him for a while. His dark long lashes rested on his cheeks, his plump, slightly cracked lips were parted slightly and light snores were escaping them. Not to mention his messy, platinum fringe that was spread across his forehead, tangled just a little.
Y/n smiled to herself as she admired her future husband. Her eyes scanned his face.
"I can feel you staring." Draco muttered out, not opening his eyes at all.
"Why would I be staring at you?" Y/n replied back sarcastically,
"Have you seen how handsome I am? Why wouldn't you want to stare at me?" He smirked, his light grey eyes looking back at y/n smuggly.
"Shut up." Y/n laughed, hitting his shoulder softly, laughing along with him.
Draco sat himself up, rubbing his eye and yawning loudly. Y/n watched him run his fingers through his hair to try and sort out the slight mess that was placed on the top of his head.
Y/n stayed laid on her back, as Draco pulled the covers off himself and stood onto the soft carpeted floor. Stretching largely as soon as he found his balance. He wore a pair of small black shorts and a plain white t-shirt, on this particular nippy morning.
"Are you in a rush to be somehwere?" Y/n asked, propping herself onto her elbow, watching Draco collect his neatly folded clothes from across the room.
"Of course, Dear!" Draco replied in an obvious tone, "did you forget what day it was?"
"It's Monday?" Y/n replied, not a drop of sarcasm was in her answer.
"He began to pull on his clothes that were in a neat pile, folded up on the stool of Y/n's dresser. Once fully clothed he picked up his watch to strap around his wrist.
"Merlin, is that the time?" Draco exclaimed, buckling the leather strap around his arm.
"What time is it?" Y/n asked, sitting up, the covers falling off her chest and revealing her pyjamas.
"11:30." Draco told Y/n calmly, straightening out his jacket in the mirror.
"It's nearly lunchtime." Y/n yawned, "We slept kind of late, I'm a little hungry."
"Why don't we head to the Three Broomsticks, get some Butterbeer and some lunch." Draco suggested, "It's one of the only places still open at the moment after the battle. And I think it'll be nice to take my new fiancee on a date, where we used to visit during our school years."
"Our school years only ended a year ago?" Y/n replied sarcastically."7th year doesn't really count, since we were..." Draco began to zone out, starting to stare off, away from Y/n.
"No no, you're right!" Y/n jumped up, snapping Draco out of whatever flashback he was going into, "I'll get dressed!"
