Y/n and Malfoy strolled into breakfast together, a little late the next morning. They were completely shattered from their midnight mission that Malfoy had dragged the girl into. But tiredness was the least of Malfoy's feelings when he saw that Potter was still in school.

"I can't believe it, he was supposed to be expelled." He fumed at the also curious girl.

They sat down next to each other over from pansy and Goyle.

"Yes it is quite strange, even if he wasn't kicked out for flying that broom Filch should have caught them out of bed." Y/n thought about the night before, looking at the cheerful pair.

"Yes," Malfoy agreed while glaring at Harry.

They tucked into breakfast slightly annoyed. Y/n didn't really care that Harry Potter wasn't getting expelled but Malfoy was livid. But he took the perfect opportunity to infuriate Potter when Harry was delivered a long package, Malfoy was the first to bounce over to them.

Y/n knew exactly what Potter had been sent, a new rumour was traveling around that Harry was the new seeker for the Gryffindor team. So when y/n watched Malfoy take Crabbe and Goyle over to Potter she was quick to follow wanting to see the look on Draco's face when he heard the news.

When she arrived at the table Malfoy was feeling up the package, smirking widely when he realised what it was.

"That's a broom, you're in for it now Potter. It's against the rules for first years to have a broom." He laughed menacingly.

Y/n laughed from behind the three and push past the two bodyguards to face scowling Malfoy.

"Draco don't be dim, you must of heard about it.." Y/n folded her arms over chest, raising her eye brows at the boy.

He frowned back at her, completely oblivious.

"And you call Neville clueless," y/n mocked, "Harry is the new Gryffindor seeker."

Malfoy's face was filled with shock and confusion. Y/n peaked into the package, and gasped at the broom that was in there.

"A Nimbus 2000." Y/n gasped.

"Yeah," Harry smiled proudly, "and it's all thanks to Malfoy here."

Harry and Ron got up leaving Draco in a fit of rage and confusion, he gawked at the two boys who left. Y/n was impressed that Harry could pull something like that off.

"This is an outrage, wait until my father hears about this." Malfoy began.

"If you didn't take the gift Neville got off his grandmother Harry wouldn't of chased you to get it back, so in a way you're the one who proved Harry would be a good seeker." Y/n explained to Draco who was throwing around his fathers name for the sake of it.
