"Take deep breaths, in and out, in and out, in and-" The teacher was cut off by a big bang. "Sorry, I'm late!" A girl yelled. She had blond pigtails and baby blue eyes. She had her bag over her shoulder. "It's fine, please take a seat." The man said. The girl walk over. "Mind if i sit here?" She asked a boy. He had blonde hair and dark blue eyes.

The boy nodded and move his stuff. The girl smiled "Bubbles." She said as she took her hand out. The boy wrote on a note and gave it to her. The note read 'Boomer'. Bubbles smiled. "Hope we can be friends!" She giggled. "Ok class! Let's go back what we were doing!" The teacher said.

~Later~

"Calm on Boomer! We could hang out with those kids!" Bubbles said as she pointed at kids playing at the swings. Boomer played with his fingers and shook his hand. Bubbles frown. Soon a group of kids came. "Hey Bubbles!" A girl named Princess Morebucks said. She had a little crown on her head and was wearing a big dress. "Hi, Princess!" Bubbles said with a smile.

Princess took one look at Boomer and frown. "Why are you hanging out with the mute kid?" She asked. Bubbles frown at that "What do you mean?" She asked. Princess snorted "I may be 8, but i know muteness can get around!" She yelled. Bubbles rolled her eyes. "Look Morebucks things like that can't get around!" Bubbles defended Boomer.

Bubbles then took a deep breath. "Leave us alone." She mutter to Princess. She grabbed Boomer arm and walk away from Princess. She gave him a weak smile. "Don't worry! She is a meany!" She said towards Boomer who gave a weak smile. "I used to have separation anxiety towards my sister, that's why my dad said i need to learn to be by my own. He often comes. I'm still getting used to coming without my sisters. That's why i came late this moring. I didn't want to leave them." Bubbles mutter.

Boomer pat Bubbles back. "It's okay." He said quietly. Bubbles eyes widened but she stay quiet. She gave Boomer her famous smile. "Want to play in the sandbox? Princess won't be there. She hates sand!" Bubbles giggled. Boomer nodded. Bubbles took Boomer towards the sandbox.

~years later~

"Leave us alone!" A 15 year old girl yelled. She still had her hair tied into a ponytail and there were some blue strips in her hair. She had glasses on. She was wearing a white tanktop and a blue skirt with some tennis shoes. She had a jacket on. She glare at the boy. "Why would i leave the cutie and her mute prince alone?" The boys asked. Bubbles felt her face getting red from anger.

She took deep breaths. She remember what her teacher from back then said "Take deep breaths." She mutter under her breath. She look straight at the boy and gave him a smile. "Sorry! I don't have time!" She yelled and ran with Boomer. Boomer was wearing a sweater and some jeans. He was the local soft boy. He never really talk he only talk to Bubbles and his brothers.

Bubbles took them to the school roof. "Were alone." She mutter she sat down. "You know, you don't have to keep defending me." Boomer said and sat next to her. Bubbles pouted and cupped his cheeks. "But i love defending you! It gives me a will to live more." She said with a small smile. Boome blush as she let go of his cheeks. "Boomer your the best thing that ever happen to me! Nothing can top that." She said with a grin. Boomer smiled back.

Bubbles layed on Boomer legs. Her head resting and her legs spread out. "So Boomer after we go out of school, what do you want to do?" She asked. Boomer went in thinking mode. "Spend more with you." He said with a tint blush. Bubbles gave a smile. She poked Boomer. "Same." She mutter. The bell rang. Bubbles pouted. "I hate this class." She mutter. Bubbles and Boomer weren't in the same class. So Bubbles hated it.

They both got up and went downstairs. "See you art!" She giggled and left. Once she left. Bubbles felt separate from Boomer. She felt like running back to him. She stayed strong and walk to her class. Each day she has to face that she can't always be with Boomer. She went to her class and sat down. "Hey Bubbles." A guy said and sat next to Bubbles. "Hey!" She said.

The guy was the badboy type. He had brown eyes. His name was Cody. "So i was wondering if you could go on a date with me." He mutter while his cheeks turn pink. Bubbles never saw this side of him. She wanted to say yes but something was pulling her. "Sorry, Cody your a great guy but i can't." She mutter. Cody gave a weak smile. "It's Boomer isn't it?" He asked.

Bubbles raised an eyebrow. "What?" She asked confused. "You love Boomer." He said and left. Bubbles sat there. She closed her eyes. 'Do i really love Boomer? Is that why when a boy ask me out i reject them. No matter how i feel. I will always love him then.' She thought.

~later~

Bubbles lean agaisnt her locker. Waiting for Boomer. She bit her lip and nail. She was getting impatient. She took deep breaths to calm herself down. She paced back and forth. "Bubbles!" Someone yelled. Bubbles turned and saw a girl holding Boomer up. The girl was wearing a small dark blue skirt with a blue tanktop showing her belly. She had her hair tied into ponytails and had dark blue eyes. Her whole hair eas dyed blue.

"Oh my gosh! Boomer!" Bubbles yelled. She walk over and cupped Boomer cheeks. "Wha-what happen?!" She stutter out. Brat -the girl- then spoke up. "He got beat up by the boys." She said. Bubbles then look at Brat. "Can you help me?" She asked. Brat nodded. The two girls help Boomer walk to the nurse. The nurse was a young lady. "Oh my!" She yelled as she went to Boomer. "What happen?" She asked. "Bullies." Bubbles said.

The nurse narrowed her eyes. She help Boomer. "You girls may leave," the nurse mumble. Brat nodded and left. Bubbles stayed. "I don't have classes." She said quickly. The nurse nodded and went to help Boomer.

~Few mintue later~

Boomer came out of the room. He had a bruise eye and a bruise lips. He saw Bubbles sleeping on a chair he smiled and walk over. "Bubbles wake up." He mutter. Bubbles eyes flutter open. "Huh?" She saw Boomer closed to her face. She blush red. "Boom!" She yelled and hugged him. Boomer smiled. "I'm glad your okay." Boomer mutter. Bubbles pulled away from the hug. "No I'm glad your okay." She said. She kissed Boomer cheek as he blush red.

Bubbles and Boomer walk home. Bubbles lean on Boomer shoulder. She took deep breath. "Boomer we need to talk." She said. She pulled his arm. "I don't know how to say this since your my bestfriend." She said. Boomer cupped her cheeks "Bubs just say it." He said quietly. "Boomer, i like you. No. I love you." She said with tears in her eyes. Boomer eyes widen. He wiped off the tears. "Bubbles i love you too." He said in her ear. Bubbles smiled and hugged him.

Once they pulled out of the hug Boomer look at her eyes and she look at his eyes. Soon the two were getting closer. Their lips meet. Bubbles wrap her arms around Boomer neck and his arms on her waist. Their kiss meant the world to Bubbles. Boomer was happy. Soon they pulled apart. "Bubbles i love you." He said. Bubbles cried and hugged him.

"I will always love you!"

"Promise?"

"Promise. It's us."

"Against the world."
