Blood splattered onto Kiori's face.

Her eyes widened.

Iyoro dropped on his knees as blood trickled down his chin. "It....was.....chakra enhanced..."

He glared at the ten ANBU members surrounding us. "Kiori...run now."

"What?" 

"I said run, now."

"I-I said I won't run," Kiori bit her lips. 

"You stupid idiot, just run!!!" Iyoro screamed.

"No...." Kiori whispered.

A black figure flashed next to her and held her by her waist. "Sorry, Kiori."

"I trust you to help my little sister, hm?" Iyoro glanced at the figure who nodded.

"LET ME GO!" Kiori screamed as the figure ran away with her in his arms at high speed.

"NII-SAAN!!!!"

Iyoro looked back and smiled.

"Water style: Raging waves!"

"IYORO YOU BASTARD!!!"

Kiori's eyes slowly cracked open.

"Oh, you're awake, sweetheart."

Kiori's vision slowly cleared as she saw a figure next to her. "Azami...nee-chan?"

"No, Kiori. Come on, open up your mouth."

Still in a half conscious state, her mouth automatically opened and the sweet taste of blood spread in her mouth.

"Mhm, that's a good girl...."

"You stupid idiot, just run!!!"

"IYORO!" Kiori screamed as she jolted up from her bed, panting.

Tears stained her eyes as she breathed heavily.

Footsteps were heard outside before the door opened and she felt a few pats on her back.

"Kiori-san, calm down...it's me."

Taking deep breathes, she gulped and nodded slowly. "I-Iyoro?"

"No, it's me, Kaneki."

Her eyes trailed up to meet grey ones. 

"Eyepatch."

"Y-Yes," the white haired boy smiled.

(lol so kaneki didnt actually return to his human body.
basically he just shrank.
Everyone did.)

"Where's my brother?" Kiori looked up at him. "I want the truth."

"Um.....he's......" Kaneki looked away. "He's not with us anymore."

"I....see," I nodded. "And Ayato?"

"Ayato-san is fine, you don't need to worry!" Kaneki smiled.

I glanced at him before burying my head in my pillow.

"I-I'll be leaving then, Kiori-san. Call me if you need me," Kaneki smiled before exiting the room.

The door shut close.

Feet dangling over the edge of the building, Kiori stared up at the skies.

She heard laughter behind her and spun around to see a few kids running after one another. Smiling, she turned back to stare at the clouds.
