I groaned as my alarm clock went off. I got up and showered quickly before getting dressed and ready for today. I stared at myself in the mirror. I looked out of place for Charming but my ex hadn't liked my clothes from Charming so he took me on a shopping spree to replace them all. His mom and sister had also sent me some clothes as well. I managed to hold onto two pair of denim shorts and two of my skinny jeans but everything else he tossed. I'd have to get my hands on some SAMCRO shirts again and some TM ones.

For today, a pale blue sundress with an old leather jacket would have to do. My mom had strategically brought some of the clothes I'd left with her when she dropped off the groceries yesterday.

Luckily my leather jacket with my patches was still there. I obviously couldn't have the patches that belonged on a kutte but there were a few that I did have. My dad had given me the jacket when I turned sixteen only weeks before he died. He'd included a Redwood patch and a custom Princess patch to match it. The jacket also held his remembrance patch still.

I smiled gently at the memories as the doorbell rang. I walked down, the jacket still in my hand and noticed Tig standing outside. I opened the door and he smiled at me.

"Your mother figured you'd need a ride," he said.

"Yeah but I've still got an hour til I need to be there," I said as I let him in. "I was just about to go wake Ava."

"I'll start coffee," he said. I nodded and kissed his cheek quickly before I headed down to Ava's room.

"Baby it's time to get up," I said softly. She tried to protest.

"Tiggy est là(is here)," I said. She was not impressed but grumpily got out of bed and went to her closet to choose an outfit.

She handed me the dress she chose and I got her ready for the day.

We headed down to the kitchen where Tig was waiting with two cups of coffee made. He handed me one and I took a careful sip.

"You remembered?" I asked.

"I remember everything about you," he said softly. I smiled at him.

"Ava, que veux tu pour le petit dejeuner (what do you want for breakfast)?" I asked.

She shrugged so I opened the fridge. Luckily my mom had grabbed some yogurt. I grabbed the yogurt and a banana off the counter.

"You want anything?" I asked Tig as I sat Ava at the table with her breakfast.

"No I'm good."

"You sure?" I asked as I made myself some toast. He nodded.

"Ava baby," I said. "Do you want some toast?"

"Oui. Merci (Yes. Thank you)," she said. I nodded and cut one of the pieces of bread in half and took her some.

She ate happily as I returned to the kitchen and started to talk to Tig.

"Dresses?" He asked.

"Her dad preferred it," I said softly. "He and his family pretty much remade me into the perfect girl next door they thought American girls should be."

"And you let them?" He asked.

"I didn't have much of a choice. I was halfway around the world with no family and a baby on the way," I said. "I did what I thought was best for her. I always have."

"You're a great mom," he said.

"Thanks," I said softly. He kissed my temple as I leaned into his side and ate my breakfast.

Before long we were heading out to TM.

When Tig pulled into the lot, Kyle and Opie were already waiting for him to go repo something.

"Good luck," I said. He nodded and kissed my cheek. I smiled as I headed into the garage.

"Hey big sis," Jax said. "And our little one."

"Our little one?" I asked.

"She's a daughter of the club now," he said with a chuckle.

"Ava, want to stay and watch Uncle Jax work for a bit?" He asked.

She nodded and he took her and sat her down on his work bench. She watched him happily as I headed into the office.

"That jacket still looks as good as ever."

"Thanks Ma," I said.

"But dresses?"

"Mom," I said. She looked at me, earning a glare in return.

"I'm just saying baby," she said.

"Look, I'm not having this argument with you," I said as I started on some paperwork that she handed me. It was easy to fall back into the rhythm of TM. Ava watched the guys work most the morning, and they were happy to have her around.

I was beyond happy when the day was over and I was able to head home with my daughter for a bit.
