About an hour later Tig returned with some food. We talked quietly as we ate. Ava was still sleeping.

"Hello I'm Dr. Adams," a male doctor said walking into the room.

"Samantha Teller," I said.

"Tig Trager," Tig said, shaking hands with the doctor.

"Mom and Dad?" He asked.

"Soon to be step dad," Tig clarified. I nodded as I took a drink.

"So visiting hours end at nine," he said, looking at the clock that read 8:30. "And your entourage is going to have to go with you."

"She's four," I said.

"So one of you can stay the night but not both," he said. "And the bikers in the waiting room are stressing parents out."

"They wouldn't be in the waiting room but you won't let them back here," Tig said.

"Why can't we both stay?" I asked. "She was literally kidnapped yesterday. We don't know what happened to her."

"I'm sorry ma'am," he said. "A cop can be posted outside the door if you're afraid of someone trying to hurt her."

"I'd rather post myself out there," Tig said.

"I'm sorry. It's hospital policy," he said. I rolled my eyes as he left the room.

"I'll take the night so you can be here with her in the morning instead of sleeping somewhere," he said.

"And when she wakes up at midnight still speaking only in French?"

"I'll call you," he said. "The second anything comes up."

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Take the guys to the hotel with you," he said. "I don't want you anywhere alone."

"I understand Tig," I said. He held me for a few minutes before I had to say goodnight to him and Ava.

"I'll be back at 8," I said.

"I love you," Tig said, kissing my lips as he moved the chair so he could watch Ava and the door.

"I love you more baby," I said. I walked out of the room and headed to the waiting area. All of the guys were still waiting.

"How's she doing?" Piney asked, hugging me quickly.

"Good. Still asleep. They won't let us both stay with her. Tig offered to take the night so I can be here tomorrow," I said.

"We've got a couple rooms at the hotel next door. They overlook this entrance of the hospital so we're going to keep an eye out," Jax said.

"Thank you," I said. He nodded as did some of the others.

"I'd like to go shower," I said. Jax nodded and we all headed out. Jax, Juice and I wound up sharing a room. I didn't care because one of them was going to be on watch at all times. I went to shower quickly before throwing my clothes back on. In our rush to get here this morning, we hadn't packed any bags.

"Hey, can someone bring my car up tomorrow and take Tig's bike back?" I asked softly as I braided my hair.

"He's not going to let anyone ride," Jax said.

"And he's not going to want me driving Ava home alone when she's discharged," I said. "Just at least bring me my car cause it has our lockdown bags in it still."

"Yeah I'll get Kozik and Hap to bring it," he said.

"Thanks," I said. "Also," I paused to stretch out and lay down. "What's the deal with Tara?"

"Married two kids already," he said. "Just graduated from med school. Get this," Jax paused to chuckle as Juice looked at us. "Husband is a fed."

I lost it a little and started laughing.

"Nothing quite like going from an outlaw to a fed," I said.

"She's obviously enjoying living on the edge," Juice said. I laughed a little at that.

"I'm getting some sleep. If my phone rings, wake me."

Jax hit the lights and I was out in seconds.
