I walked into the clubhouse as Tig left and sat down on the couch. Bobby and the prospects were in the clubhouse already as some of the others started to arrive.

"I'm sorry," Juice said, sitting down opposite me on the couch.

"It's not your fault," I said, swallowing harshly.

"I'm trying to sympathize here," he said.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't be rude to you," I said. "Thank you for being there."

"You need anything I'm here for you," he said. I nodded and it fell silent around us as more people arrived. It was growing quite loud as Bobby and the prospects worked to explain what was going on.

"I'm gonna go to the roof and smoke," I said to Juice.

"Tig didn't want you to leave," he said.

"I won't tell if you don't," I said. He rolled his eyes and followed me to the roof. I sat down and lit the cigarette.

We sat in total silence as I stared out at Charming.

"Dad," I said softly, not caring that Juice was here. Talking to my dad like this is the closest I get to prayer these days.

"You've gotta protect her. I don't know where she is or how to help her." My eyes were watering so I wiped them and offered the cigarette to Juice who took it. "Please Dad."

"She's got two of the best guardian angels," Juice said. "And she got her mom's toughness."

"Thanks Juan," I said. He stared at me.

"No one calls me that here," he said.

"Want me to only call you Juice?"

"No, it was nice," he said. "No one's called me Juan since my mother passed."

"Well, I'm barely older than you but if you need any motherly advice, you know where to find me," I said.

"Thanks," he said with a chuckle.

Bobby's voice carried up from the base of the ladder.

"Get your ass down here before Tig has my head," he said.

"Coming," I hollered back.

We returned to the clubhouse and Bobby forced me to make the announcement about why we were here.

"Thanks everyone, for coming here," I started. "I appreciate it. My daughter was taken, kidnapped, I guess. We don't know why or who, but we all want you to be safe. When Piney returns, he will explain more but you should all know the drill by now. No one leaves without an escort. If you need anything in the mean time find myself or Bobby."

"Sam," Donna said as she walked up. "Piney called."

"Thanks for coming in," I said. "I don't want anyone else going through this."

"If you need anything I'm here for you," she said.

"Thank you," I said. "Right now all I need is my little girl home."

She nodded and hugged me before heading off with her kids. I headed into the kitchen and started to check and see if we had enough food for the night. Normally my mother handled this but with Clay out and her not answering her phone this was our option.

I got some of the croweaters started in on a dinner type meal and went to Bobby. He was standing near the door where he could keep an eye on the prospects at the gate and what was going on in the clubhouse.

"Thank you," I said as I walked up.

"Thank me when we find her," he said.

"I will," I said. "Trust me."

We fell silent for a while before my phone rang. It was Wayne. He needed me at the station.

"I gotta go," I said.

"Take someone," he said.

"Juice," I hollered. He jogged over.

"I need a ride to the station," I said. He nodded and we headed out.
