- "Hi!" I little boy around my age walked up to me. "My name is Darryl. What's your name?" He asked politely, reaching out for my hand. "Hi, Darryl my name is Zak." I smiled happily. I made my first friend!
- "You promise to never ever leave me?" Darryl asked, raising his pinky towards my own. "I promise," I promised, linking my pinky with his. He looked up to me, smiling brightly at me.
- "Dude you cheated!" He panted, catching up to me. "Man. But I still won." I said, smirking. He groaned in response. "Hey," I said, turning to him. "Yes, Zak?" He asked, looking up at me with puppy eyes. "Race you." I giggled, running away from him. "Hey, Zak wait no!" His voice huffing from behind.
- "Eat it." I said, pushing the slimy worm into his face. "Ew no Skeppy!" He yelled at me, pushing my hand away from his face. "Eat. It." I said slowly, pushing it back into his face. "NO Geppy stop!" I giggled. "Fine. You big baby." I got a death glare in return.
- "Skeppy?" Bad questioned, pulling me out of my trance. "Uh-yes?" I asked, my facing turning dark red. "You okay? You were staring at me for a little bit." He says calmly. "I am doing okay yes." I answered, smiling brightly.
- I have no clue why, but lately I will catch my self staring at my best friend. He makes my cheeks go red. He also makes my stomach hurt. It's not a bad kind of hurt though. I don't know how to explain it. He makes me really happy and lately I just want to spend all my time with him? Yes that's how to explain it.
- "I don't like him like that! He's just a friend!" I yelled at them. My friends Vurb, and Spifey have been saying I like bad? I would never. He's just a friend. Nothing more then a friend. Nothing more. "You don't look at him like he's just a friend." Vurb sighed. "You stare at him for hours on end dude. You obviously like him like that." I rolled my eyes.
- "Thank you Skeppy!" He ran into my arms with a warm smile. I felt heat running up my neck. "Of course bad." I smiled, wrapping my arms around him. "I love you." That feeling. It comes only around him. It's like butterfly's? In my stomach? I don't know.
- "I am in love with him." Everyone around my sighed. "Yes we know that. You have been for years." Spifey replied. "Finally you figured it out!" Vurb yelled at me. "When are you going to tell him?" TapL asked, opening his juice. "What? Never. He doesn't like me like that." Everyone rolled their eyes at me as a response.
- "I have to tell him. I can't keep it in for much longer. Everything he dose. He makes me crazy!" I vented. "You could ask him to prom. That might work?" Vurb asked, unsure. "Yes great idea Vurb! Will anyone help me out?" Everyone smirked.
- After a couple of weeks I had it all planed out. Bad was going to walk to his locker and see me with a sign that reads: "Go to prom with me? (please)" I am so excited. I just really hope our friendship doesn't get ruined because of my feelings. I won't let that happen, he means to much to me.
- "Come on Bad let's go get your books!" Vurb ran, pulling on bads arm behind him. "Why are you such in a hurry you muffin?" Bad yelled out to him. "Just hurry!" He panted, running down the hall.
- There he was. I saw him turn the corner. Looking amazing as always. "Skeppy..?" He called out. "Hi Badboyhalo." I smiled. "Is..is this for..for me...?" He asked slowly. "Yes. Will you go to prom with me bad?" I asked, with a proud smile on my face. "I.." He shock his head. Oh god. "I..I have to go.." He ran. Everything turned into slow motion.
- I felt tears. Tears. My best friend of 10 years just rejected me. "I knew this would happen." I sobbed.
