"Mr Qian."

The teacher continued looking down at his food, poking the mushrooms in his ramen.

Renjun slumped, resting his chin on the back of his chair, "Mr Qian."

Mark looked as the teacher took a massive bite from his food, Renjun pouting further.

"Kun hyung."

Still no response. All the boys were now watching as Renjun continued to call out to the teacher, the smaller boy starting to whine.

"Kun hyung...Kun ge...KUN."

The boys sniggered as Renjun started to scream at the teacher, trying to get his attention. Kun slowly breaking as he tried to hold back his smile.

"APPA!"

Kun choked, all the boys now laughing, Jeno falling out of his chair practically dying on the floor.

"What the fuck do you want?" Kun sighed, placing his chopsticks down.

Renjun pouted, reaching out with a hand towards the teacher, making a grabby motion, "I want."

"Hyung," Chenle laughed out, "why are you like this?"

Yuta, who was also in the room today, snorted as Renjun continued to complain, patting Kun on the back, "have fun."

Kun frowned to push back a grin, resting his cheek in his hand, "why, did I not give you this morning?"

Renjun rolled out of his seat, "you did, but I finished and I'm hungry." He walked over to the man, now pulling on his sleeve and asking for ramen.

Kun groaned at the pestering, rubbing his face aggressively before looking up to him. He grabbed the boy's face, Renjun just chuckling in response.

"Why are you being like this now?"

Renjun swayed from side to side, "Appa pleaseeeeeee."

Kun sighed loudly, moving his hands away from Renjun's face and instead bit down on his knuckle, silently screaming. Mark snorted, the things this poor man had to put up with daily.

And with that, he placed the ramen bowl to the side.
"Fucking take it then, I don't care," Kun rolled his eyes as Renjun's lit up, taking the rest of the ramen and thanking him over and over.

He rolled his shoulders back as he sat back down at the table. Everyone laughed as Renjun hummed a small tune, stuffing his face with the leftover ramen as Yuta comforted Kun over his lost food and offering a bit of his food to him. Renjun looked back to the older man suffering, turning back and shimmying his shoulders, Kun loudly whining at the action. Mark bit his lip, trying to prevent himself from laughing further unlike his brother who was on the floor.

Renjun wiped his mouth, grinning up at the guys, "I gotta act up sometimes otherwise I'm too good of a child." He turned his head to the teacher, smiling from ear to ear. "Right hyung?"

Kun rolled his tongue across the inside his cheek, giving him a thumbs up while muttering about why he didn't deserve this.

Before he could complain out loud, a knock came from the door. Jisung frowned, getting up and walking over. He pulled the curtain back, smiling for a brief moment before his face fell. He unlocked and opened the door. Mark turned his head to try and see who was let in.

Jaemin walked in, a half smile on his lips as he placed his food down and slid in the seat next to Jeno. His eyes flickered up to Yuta for a moment before leaning on his boyfriend's shoulder.

"Welcome back," Chenle smiled at him, "how are you?"

Jaemin nodded slowly, breathing heavily as he slouched further on to Jeno. The elder boy wrapped his arms around his shoulders, running his fingers through his hair.

"Minnie," Renjun cocked his head, Mark sitting up as he noticed the small gnash of Jaemin's cheek that had clotted, his face a bit pale and hollow, "what happened?"

Jaemin sighed, "Had a raging fever for the past two days, so been feeling shit, and then this morning, I fell off my bed and hit my face on my bedside table." He chuckled, the boys, minus Jeno, slowly breathing easy as Jaemin spoke. "I couldn't even look at my phone, I could only see colours."

Jisung giggled, patting Jaemin's shoulder causing him to flinch slightly. "Ah, sorry, still delirious," he laughed.

"We're glad you're back, Nana hyung," Jisung smiled as Jeno removed his arm from Jaemin. Jaemin looked up, pouting a bit as Jeno moved his chair back and turned it to face toward him. He sat back down, gesturing for Jaemin to lie down.

Jaemin looked up, his eyes glazing over slightly before shuffling over, cuddling into Jeno's chest. Jeno moved his arms around his lover, muttering about how he needed sleep, and softly hummed a tune, lulling the younger boy to sleep.

The rest of the boys slowly shifted into different conversations, being as quiet as they could be as Jeno held on to Jaemin. Mark watched in silence, a single droplet falling on to Jeno's chest. He looked back up to the teachers, Kun mumbling something to Yuta. Mark caught Yuta's eye, a silent exchange as he narrowed his eyes at the teacher before Yuta's eyes darted away.

"We shouldn't dwell," Renjun tapped Mark's shoulder, his attention snapping toward him.

Mark nodded, breathing out softly. "He must be tired."

No one knew what happened. Well almost at least. But Mark couldn't help but know something was very off. And based on Jeno's reaction, he knew it too.
