And there he went on narrating his days, from having a roommate to nearly ending someone's life. "And you kept this all away from me!" Jaemin yelled dramatically but soon coming into his trance of curiosity, "Wait- does that mean you have a boyfriend?" he asked seriously.
Before Taehyun could answer him, Jaemin started blabbering theories with the information he had just received, "And that same guy kissed some other dude, whom you, later on, tried to kill. How do you even know he's trustworthy?"he frowned questioning the younger's decision.
Still not letting the other speak, astonished at the fact that he was unaware of all this,"Tae, it hasn't been any longer than a month and you've already given that guy a second chance, where's this going?" Taehyun looked at his best friend, who was debating with himself, he had too much on his mind that needed to be said, these weren't the matters to be passed over in silence nor were these matters that were supposed to be roared about.
"For once, have you tried to look at it objectively not subjectively? Where's the Taehyun who'd never let anything pass unless it's factual?" he looked at the younger for a moment, "You know, all this time when you talked about this, you blamed it all on the other guy not once did you mention that it was also your boyfriend's fault,"he paused to make the quotation marks with his hands at the name of Taehyun's 'boyfriend', "you turned a blind eye to his part-"
"STOP!" Taehyun yelled interrupting him, raising his hand in front of his face, "I know, I was unfair to Yeonjun, I acknowledge it but I think I am old enough to make decisions for myself." The two stared at each other, both under the same feeling of being misunderstood by the other. "It isn't about making decisions, Tae, you're completely free to do whatever the fuck you want!
It's about youbeing blinded, you're losing your rationality, this isn't the Taehyun I know. It's just been a month, is it even true love?" he darted his eyes towards the screen, he had always wanted the best for his dear friend, they always kept each other updated, sharing the smallest of details but now he felt left out as if he wasn't worthy enough of knowing what was going on his friend's life.
Moreover, he was surprised by how highly Taehyun spoke of Beomgyu. His words and questions were valid, Taehyun had never been the type of person to get attached to people this quick, you'd never catch him being unfair or biased nor he was the type of person to forgive people so easily, and with the little time span, they didn't stand a chance to gain his emotional trust. Yet here he was acting so not him.
"How do you know it isn't true?" Taehyun questioned, he hadn't planned on getting hurt not even the slightest bit of what he was feeling at that moment, isn't love an untimely emotion though?
