it's my sister's birthday
this coming saturday, are

am i free? do i even know? i frantically opened my calendar and looked through... saturday - no events. oh phew there's nothing on. why am i happy- just take it as a normal gathering yes... why is my heart beating so fast though- holy i can't be falling for soobin could i :o

within seconds, a reply came.

 i quickly backspaced and removed that. gosh, park y/n, are you even in your right mind??? why would i even want soobin to be happy gosh- i mean yes as a friend i- park y/n you aren't falling for him are you??? 

gosh, why am i feeling nervous? it's not like i'm going for a blind date or anything... yeah it's not... fOcUs PaRk Y/n you've got work to do. yes you've got work to d get back to your work and stop thinking about choi soobin. work earns you money, soobin doesn't, get your priorities right.

"texting during work huh? who is it?" sangmin asked. ugh, ever since soobin left this company, sangmin has been literally disturbing me non stop, like bruh when will she stop all this nonsense? "do your own work, you shouldn't even be walking around," i said.

"well the legs are mine i choose where i make them walk to, the company isn't yours though so you can't make up rules to message during work hours," she said, a smug look plastered on her face. ugh look at her, i really hate it. but i can't do anything. 

knowing that she's related to mr kim, if i want to keep my job, i'll have to endure all this. "i'll keep my phone now," i said. "no, you haven't answered my question, who were you messaging? if you tell me, i'll consider not letting mr kim know about your work incompetence," she said. 

"it... it's not someone you know," i said. ack park y/n why did you stutter. "don't lie, y/n, you better be honest~" she said in a sing song tune. "it's soobin," i replied. "soobin? did i not make it clear enough to stay away from him? he's mine, and mine only, so get away from him," she said. "now that i've told you who i'm messaging are you going to stop disturbing me?" i asked. 

"what if i don't?" she asked. "well, i wonder who did your work a few days ago and what would mr kim think about his very own niece..." i said. "well, even if you tell him, will he believe you? will he believe a total stranger or his very own niece? well, i'm not going to waste more saliva and time talking to you so bye," she said as she sashayed back to her seat. 

ugh for how much longer do i have to endure all this... i'm really hating all of this... how i wish there would be someone who i can just rely on so i won't have to go through all of this...
