 We sat in silence for a couple of minutes until I heard helicopter blades whirling. The same ones from Janson's helicopter. "Do you guys hear that?" I asked. "Yea." They all replied. I quickly stood up with everyone following. We looked off into the distance and saw helicopter lights. "That shank. She told them where we were I bet!" I yelled before running down to the camp. "Thomas!" I called while running around. I saw him off in the distance and started running towards him until I saw a missile start to come from a helicopter.

"Get down!" Minho yelled and basically tackled me to the floor before hovering above me, sheltering me from the debris. We both quickly got up, and we all ran behind metal barrels. Vince was beside us, shooting them with a tank. I ran to him with Minho, Newt, and Frypan following. When we got there, Vince handed me and Minho both a gun and yelled over the noise, "Do you guys know how to use this thing?!" I nodded, although I didn't know if I actually did, it just felt like an instinct as soon as the gun came into my hands.

"Cover me!" Vince shouted. We both nodded, and like he said, covered him, shooting anybody who tried to stop it. The wicked guards kept coming though and shot the electric bullets. "Vince! Hurry up! There's too many of them!" I yelled but kept shooting. "I'm out!" Vince yelled. Just then, a grenade-looking thing dropped into the tank, but it was staticky like the bullets. It shocked us all, and we all layed there as guards came and picked us up.

They dragged us to the center of the camp and made us get on our knees before scanning the back of our necks. As they were scanning my neck, they said, "A1. 'The downfall.'" They said different ones for everyone else though. When they scanned Newt they said, "The Glue", hm well that was true. I don't know what it meant, but 'the downfall' doesn't sound all that great.

Then, Janson came up and looked at me. I was about to get up and punch him, but Minho put his hand over mine and I knew not to. "Where's your twin?" Janson asked in my face. I spit in his face. He was about to punch me, but Thomas's voice said, "Right here.", from beside us. I looked over and he got grabbed and got walked to Janson. "Thomas." Janson said before punching Thomas in the gut. "Thomas!" I yelled and stood up, and ran over to him. "I'm fine." He told me. I looked up and Janson, fuming with anger.

"What are you going to do little girl?" Janson mocked. Before anyone could do anything else, I punched him as hard as I could in the jaw. I could hear a crack and he stumbled back a couple of steps. Janson looked back, almost as mad as me. "Get them in line." He growled. People came and grabbed some and Thomas's arms before sitting me down in the place I was before, and Thomas next to me. "Ok." Janson said loudly before whispering something to someone and waking away. "Why didn't you run?" I asked Thomas without looking away from Janson. "I'm tired of running." Thomas replied.

Another helicopter came in, but this one much, much bigger than the others. It landed in front of us and the hatch opened up. About eight more guards came out before the one and only Ava Paige came walking out. She walked up towards us and stood next to Janson.

"Is this all of them?" She asked him. "Most of them. It'll be enough." Janson told her. "Start loading them in." Ava commanded. "Alright, you heard her! Load 'em up!" Janson shouted. One of the guards came and picked me and Thomas up before shoving us towards Ava. "Hello, Thomas." Ava said before looking towards me with hate in her eyes.

"Hello, Antonia." She said. I could hear the hatred in her voice as she said my name. "Why, hello, Miss. Asshole griever shit." I said sarcastically and gave a sassy smile. "You better watch your mouth before you get hurt." Ava told me. "Do you think I care at this point?" I asked and laughed. "I could care less if I die or not, but you aren't taking my friends." I growled. We glared at each other for a while until Teresa came up.

"I'm glad your safe." Ava said and pulled Teresa closer to her like a mother. I knew she was the one who rated us out. "The hell?" Minho asked as he walked up behind me with Newt and Frypan. "Teresa?" Frypan questioned. "Wait, what's going on?" Newt asked. "She's with them." Thomas told us. "I knew it. You were a traitor all along." I said to Teresa. "Not only that, but she also told me where you were hiding." Ava told me with a smirk. I was about to punch Teresa as hard as I punched Janson, but Minho and Thomas held me back.

"I'm sorry. But I had no choice. This is the only way." Teresa told us. "Bull crap." I retorted. "Now I see why Antonia always hated you." Minho added. "She right. This is all just a means to an end. You used to understand that Thomas. No matter what you think of me, I am not a monster. I am a doctor. I swore an oath to find a cure. No matter the cost." Ava said with her voice getting louder with each word. "I just need more time." Ava told us.

"More blood." Mary said from behind us. "Hello, Mary. I hoped we'd meet again. I'm sorry it had to be under these circumstances." Ava replied. "I'm sorry about a lot of things too. But not this. At least my conscience is clear." Mary said. "So is mine." Ava replied before we heard a gunshot. I looked over and Mary had blood coming out of her shirt. Vince caught her as she fell, but she was already dead.

"No! Mary!" Vince yelled. I looked over and Janson was putting a gun in his jacket. "Come on Janson. Load them up. Let's go." Ava commanded before she walked away with Teresa. Someone came and grabbed Thomas, but as he got closer to the helicopter, he elbowed the guy and pulled out a bomb with a handheld trigger. That was what Jorge and Thomas were going to do at the mountain. "Get back!" Thomas screamed over and over. "Let them go!" Thomas yelled as Janson, Ava, and Teresa made their way back to us. "You know I can't do that!" Ava said. "Thomas please stop! I made a deal with them. They promised we'd be safe. All of us." Teresa pleaded.

"So I'm supposed to trust you know?" Thomas questioned. "It's true! It was her only condition!" Ava added. "Shut up!" Thomas yelled. "Everything can go back to the way it was. Thomas, do you really want all of them to die?" Ava said and motioned towards me, Newt, Minho, and Frypan. Thomas looked at me and I walked up to him with Minho, Newt, and Frypan following.

I put my hand on Thomas's shoulder and looked him in the eye. "We're with you, Thomas." I told him. He looked at me sadly before looking back at Ava Paige who shook her head. "Do it, Thomas. We're ready." Minho said. "I'm not going back there. It's the only way." Thomas told Ava and held up the trigger. I felt Minho grab my hand just before Thomas pushed his thumb down. "Thomas!" Ava yelled before he could.

Just that second, we heard horns honking loudly. We looked over and Jorge was riding with Brenda wildly through the campsite in a vehicle and ran into a helicopter. Chaos broke out again, and the gladers turned around to be greeted by a group of guards. I looked at Thomas and nodded at him. He pulled the trigger and threw the bomb into the guards. "Get down!" He screamed to us. We all dropped to the floor just as the bomb went off. I was about to get up, but someone came and slapped me hard. I fell to the ground again and they stood over me. I looked up to see Janson cocking his gun towards me. "What a waste." He told me.

Before he could though, someone shot his shoulder. I looked over and saw Brenda in some rocks with a sniper. I got up and ran towards Thomas and the other gladers. Brenda shot the guards coming towards me. Just as I was about to get to the rest of the gladers, I reached down and picked up a gun from a dead guard. "Go! Go!" I yelled to them. They all ran, but Thomas still wasn't there. When he ran behind me, I told him to go even though I could see in his eyes he didn't want to leave me. I shot a couple of guards before I ran out of bullets. Two guards came up and one shot me with an electricity bullet. I fell to the floor, still being shocked. " Antonia!" The gladers yelled, and Minho ran up to me.

He threw the gun at the guards, but it helplessly bounced off, and he then got shocked to. Thomas, Newt, and Frypan were all yelling me and Minho's names. I saw Thomas start to come towards us, but Newt and Frypan held him back. The guards came and dragged me and Minho away towards the helicopter. They got us in just as they closed the hatch and started flying. I saw looked at Minho and mouthed "Why." before passing out.
