Y/n was the most loyal knight to king Artoria until she rejected Mordred, he couldn't watch them kill each other but a Archdemon had risen due to the influence of Morgan le fay ,so he chose to become a grey warden this meant he had to defeat it so that camelot and the rest of humanity could survive.
