what happened during those years?

Chapter 32

"So,what do you wanna do today?"
"Well,maybe we could go to the cafe we found yesterday,i haven't seen the city that much and besides we haven't really have our first date now did we?"
"Sure why not?do you want me to pick you up?"
"No you don't need to,I'll just go there with my car"
"Okay then,see ya there hun"

William puts the phone back before making his way towards his bedroom to get ready.
After he got ready,he gets in his car and drives to the cafe.

"Glad you could make it Will"
"Yeah,its nice to spend time with you"
William hugs Liam,as he returns the warm embrace.
They both stops hugging and goes to find a table.
after they found and empty table with two chairs,they both sits down on there own chair

"So how's it going with you and Clara?"
"Good i guess?its just..she barely spends time with me anymore and she always goes out with her friends"
"I'm sorry to hear that..but remember if something goes wrong just divorce her okay?"
"Of course"

A waitress walks towards them with a smile on her face.
"Hello there,what can I get for both of you?"the waitress says politely as she holds a note and a pen,ready to write there orders.
"I'll just have the espresso"
"And I'll just have the same as him"

The waitress writes down there orders.
"Alright,I'll be with your order shortly"
She walks away leaving the two men.
"So..what do you think about the city?"
"Well,i think it's quite nice,the people here are good and maybe this could be a good place to start a business"
"Good to know dear"

The waitress comes back to there table, placing there drinks on the table.
"I'm sorry that it took a long time delivering your order"
"It's alright"
She just nods and walks away to serve the other costumers.
William takes a sip of his espresso,same with Liam.
"So how you liking our first date?"
"Couldn't be better"

They shared one last hug before they parted.
"Well I'll see you later"
William walks away to go back to his car,but what he didn't notice is a car heading towards his way.
However Liam noticed and immediately ran towards William as fast as he could.

"Will!watch out!"
He pushes him out of the way,so instead he was the one that got hit.
William just sat there,horrified of what just happened.
Liam's body laid motionless on the concrete,a pool of blood surrounding him.

The sound of people screaming filled his ears as he felt a tear roll down.
He crawled over to Liam, holding his body close to him.
"Liam!please wake up!"
No response was heard from the man.
"No...no!please just please..don't leave me.."
He felt tears streaming down his face as he continues to holds his lover close to him.

I jolted up awake as i gasped for air.
I look over beside me to see Liam sleeping.
I sighed before plopping back down on the bed.
I put my head closer to Liam's chest as i slowly started to fall asleep.
