what happened during those years?

Chapter 39

-William-

I got in the store and began looking for the pregnancy test.
I searched from isle to isle before finally finding it.
I looked at the box making sure that it's the right item.
I think this is the one that Clara used.
Maybe i should get two just incase.
I got another one and made my way towards the register.

The employee behind the counter is a woman,her skin is tanned,her brown hair is tied up in two buns,her dark blue eyes looked bored and tired.
I placed the items on the counter and the woman examined the items before putting it into a plastic bag.

"I see that your wife maybe expecting"
"Huh?"
"The pregnancy tests,there for your wife right?or maybe one of your family members?"
"Oh haha..yeah it's for my wife"
"Well,let's hope that the tests will turn out positive"
"Sure.."

She handed me the plastic bag with a small smile forming on her lips.
"Well how much is it?"
"You know what just take it,ill pay for it don't worry"
"Oh uhh..thanks"
"No problem!have a good day sir"

I walked away still processing on what just happened.
I got out of the store and walked towards my car which is slightly covered in snow.
I got in and placed the bag in one of the jacket pockets.

I walked back in the house and closed the front door behind me.
"Oh William,your back already"
"Yeah the weather was too cold so i didn't stay there for long"
"Oh right,i forgot about the weather,you shouldn't have gone outside,you could get more sick"
"Don't worry Liam..i'll fine"
"I'm just worried about you..that's all,i don't want anything bad to happen to you"
"I know Liam.."

He sighs and walked over to me,giving me a hug and a small kiss.
"I love you so much.."he said as he caresses my cheek with his thumb
"I love you too.."
This continued on for a few seconds before i got out of his embrace.
"I'm going to bedroom to get some rest"
"Okay hun"
I walked away leaving Liam alone again in the living room.

I got in the bedroom and head towards the bathroom.
(Yes there is a bathroom inside of William's bedroom)
Once i got in i locked the door behind me and got two of the pregnancy tests out.
I opened one of the boxes and examined the tiny item.
How do i use this again?
I think your supposed to piss on it and wait till the results.

(I'm sorry i laughed when i read this)

If there are two red lines that means it's positive and if it's one red line then it's negative.

It's been a few minutes,so i think that results are out.
I closed my eyes and picked up both of the pregnancy tests.
I feel nervous
But i gather up my courage and opened my eyes to look at the results

Positive

No this cant be real
It's impossible!
I can't get pregnant!
I'm a male!
I looked at the other one and the result is the same

Positive

How is this even possible!?

I'm not supposed to get pregnant!
Tears started to pour out of my eyes as my hands started to shake.
I slumped on the wall still holding both of the pregnancy tests in my hands.
Sniffles turned into sobs and all i could feel right now is panic and confusion.
I finally broke down in tears letting all of my emotions out.

How will i tell Liam this!?
Will he get mad at me and leave me?
If he does then..how am i suppose to take care of the baby on my own!?
Negative thoughts consumed me as i just sat here on the cold bathroom floor crying my eyes out.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
"Will are you okay in there?you've been in there for a very long time and i heard some crying"
"Yeah I'm fine..i just threw up again thats all.."
"If you say so.."

I wiped my tears and got up from the floor.
I turned the sink on and washed my face.
I looked at the mirror to see my tear stained face and my red puffy eyes.
I put the pregnancy tests in my pocket before opening the door to see Liam sitting on the bed,looking worried.
He looked up at me and widened his eyes.

"William!?what happened!?did you cried!?"he said as he immediately approaches me.
"Don't worry..I'm fine.."
"Will..you know you can talk to me right?"
"Of course..like i said im fine..i was just thinking about bad memories and it made me a little emotional"
He seems hesitant but lets it slip for now.
